this is doppler radar estimates, as predicted over the last couple of days from adam you can see some locations picked up a good two to three inches of rain, all this fell in a very short permit. a lot of this fell within maybe a half-hour's time. again that's a lot of water in a short period of time it has created flooding problems. the national weather service continues the flash flood warning for montgomery county and lower montgomery and bucks county for the smaller creeks and streams that we're worried about. cherry hill, delran you're included in the warning. we have a flood advisory for chester and upper montgomery counties, this is for the next 15 minutes or so, where we saw two inches of rainfall in a short period of time. this flood advice includes mercer, he is -- he essex and on county. skies brightening to the west from this point on the weather looks very, very nice. i'll be back in a few minutes we have drier air working its way in the afternoon and cooler numbers in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. >> now to some of the damage in collingswood, new jersey, look at this this massive tree fell through a home at park boulevard and ogden avenue. the homeowner woke up and saw the tree swaying back and forth. >> something became louder we said get out of the how, as we approached the hallway, we heard a loud crackle crunch. >> that crunch was the sound of the large branches following through the front bedroom window. the homeowner said it happened quickly and they lucky to get in time. trish hartman was live in collingswood with some of the damage they have seen there, trish you've been surveying the area, hopefully no injuries have been reported. >> reporter: that's true, gray, i spoke to the collingswood fire chief. no injuries reported in the community. he said the damage is localized and this seems to be the heart of where most of the damage is. we're at ogden and park avenue. i want you to look behind me, two large trees uprooted and fallen across park avenue. they have fallen 0 opt power lines, the fire crews were here to survey to make sure there were no electrical hazards, the power lines are live. they want people to stay away from the branches or trees on power lines, especially if you don't know if the power lines are live. so far no injuries reported in the community, but degrees -- trees and branches are down. police say the storm came through in a matter of 15 minutes early this morning, but it will take the weekend to get things cleaned up. a lot of people we talked to say the storm was very loud and came through very quickly they had trouble of seeing out of their windows because of the winds and debris they were seeing outside of their windows, they ended up with debris and in some cases damage to their property. collingswood fire officials want to warn don't go near any downed power lines, if you see trees or debris on the power lines, it's unclear if they could be live. they don't knife handle on the fatal stabbing on the grounds of dobbins high school. a 33-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times and possibly sexually assaulted. she was found at the high school at 21st and lehigh. the police say the victim was partially clothed and had multiple stab injuries on her legs and chest and parts of her body. >> her chest is covered with blood. her hands were covered with blood, this was a brutal savage attack, somebody wanted to make sure that she suffered and that she was killed. >> we have learned the man who found the victim called 911 and is talking to police. authorities say they know who the woman is based on on personal items scattered near the body. police in camden are trying to track down a killer. a man was shot several times near the intersection of bide man avenue and river road. the shots were fired at 11:30 p.m. police rushed the victim to the hospital, but the man could not be saved. police are looking for a shooter and motive. the victim has not been identified. the own a popular ice cream parlor in cumberland county is in jail accused of spying on teenage employees as they changed. 65-year-old larry bostic who you see here operates cool breeze ice cream on landis avenue in vineland. he is charge with child endangerment and invasion of privacy. he had a camera in the dressing room. now to the rescue ever a missing bensalem man missing in montana wilderness for 4 days, he was taking part in a week's long back country expedition program. mountain rangers say he was bear foot and hungry and thirst. two searchers found him by watching power lines. there's a pse&g crew here working on the power lines. take a look at the video we shot earlier this morning. no injuries were reported in the communicate. traffic lights are out and debris is littering the roads which is making driving tricky this morning. public works crews are out clearing the roads so people can get around. police say the storm came through 15 minutes early this morning, but it will take most of the weekend to clear things up. we spoke to people who live here near the storm and what it sounded like as it blew through. >> he with heard the winds whipping and sounded like something was hitting the house. it got stronger and stronger, i said to myself i think this is a tornado. my son sleeps in the attic bedroom, i jumped out of bed and called for him to get downstairs and because i thought a tree would hit the house. when i got outside, i saw the downed tree and power lines. >> you saw the trees and leaves and i heard a loud bang. we couldn't go outside, we had someone's umbrella in the backyard from their pool. and down the other end of the block, entire trees and concrete up, luckily everyone is safe. just some damage to their properties. >> reporter: now collingswood fire officials warn if you see downed power lines or trees on downed power lines do not go near them, you don't know if they are live, they want everyone to stay safe. if all start? this was the tropical remnants of cindy, in an hour and half it blossom into a squall line. there was instability in the atmosphere to begin with, all we needed was a match for trigger expjts -- and that's what cindy provided. we had winds and rotations in the cells that formed in the lines and we had tornado warnings. we had one flood advisory and flash flood warning in bucks county and mercer county and extreme western and camden counties. it's the smaller creeks and streams that we're worried about. if you're in a flood-prone area, the water is peaking, it will peak for the next hour or two, it will start to recede. if you live an area here continue to monitor your surrounding. north and east of philadelphia. this is monmouth county, ocean county, minor flooding will follow a developing story in north philadelphia. police have recovered a knife handle at the scene of a fatal stabbing on the ground of dobbins high school. the victim was a 33-year-old woman she was stabbed multiple times and possibly sexually assaulted. she was found around 3:00 a.m. on the property of high school at 21st and lehigh. the police say the victim was partially closed and suffered establishes on her legs and chest. >> her chest was covered with blood her hands were covered with blood. this was a brutal, savage attack. somebody really wanted to make sure that she both suffered and that she was killed. >> we're told the man who found the victim and called authorities is talking to police. authorities know who the woman is based on on personal items found scattered near her body. philadelphia police are looking for the gunman who critically injured a 49-year-old man in the city's kensington section. the shooting happened about 1:30 a.m. along the 3300 block of east vanango street. the victim was shot once. the man is in critical condition. we're waiting for information on a motive or suspect. and then happening 12 blocks away from the first shooting scene in kensington. police say a teenager was shot three times, this one happened on the 1800 block of east vanango street. the 19-year-old was shot in the back and foot. the teenager stumbled into the street and collapsed. he was rushed to temple hospital. his condition has not been released. we'll pass it to you when we get more information. he may have serious physical obstacles, but the sky was the limit this week when a young boy fulfilled a dream in evesham township. nora muchanic was there. >> i -- >> say your name. >> reporter: chase's dream to be a cop. the 4-year-old who has been battling a rare brain cancer saw the dream come true when he was sworn as an honorary member of the police department. the first day on the job he was complaining about the uniform. >> that doesn't feel really comfortable. >> reporter: chase's visit started out with a ride to headquarters in a police car. he got his own uniform shirt and id and given a black and white electric cruiser with lights and sirens. >> now he has the official police shirt on and car he's loving it. >> he look at the patch and his name on it in the police car, it was awesome. >> this is my best best day yet and the airport show was my second best day. >> reporter: the family asked the friend and department if there was anyway chase could visit. it turned into more than a visit. >> i was thinking a quick tour of police station, but this went above and beyond. >> reporter: chase and his brothers austin and blake got an up-close look of the k-9 demonstration. because of the cancer he has his life and he can attendance is limited. >> to give somebody their dream is an amazing family. >> many kids wants to be a police officer. this one has it in his heart. >> i love you all today. >> reporter: seems like chase is a reading anticipate -- philadelphia, 76. reading and allentown, 77. you can see the drier air working in from the northwest. dewpoints down in the mid 60s below the threshhold of what we consider humid. philadelphia, 69 this will be the trend it will drop off later this afternoon. we get into the afternoon and early evening we're talking about dewpoints in the upper 50s and low 60s. it will feel more comfortable and more inviting out there as the day progresses. satellite and radar there it is, the remnants of what was once tropical storm cindy, it developed the small little squall line ripped through. it's off the coast already in places like connecticut, massachusetts and exiting their neck of the woods pretty quickly. we're seeing sunny conditions off to the west. remnants of cindy is off the coast. we're watching a secondary frontal system that drops in tomorrow and drops the humidity town and promises sunshine and cooler canadian air and low humidity levels. the rest of the way we're not talking about storm clouds arrest rain or anything like that. bright blue skies and sunshine, fair weather clouds later on. tonight, dewpoints down in the 50s, you may be able to open the window tonight. tomorrow, 84 degrees, breezy and warm, less humid won't feel as bad, 90 degrees is the forecasted high. looking at a combination of sun and clouds, nice breeze picking up
