Reporter this is a noreaster for the jersey shore, light to moderate snowfall for the city of philadelphia, the i95 corridor. Thats why advisories have been posted here. It will be a moderate to heavy event for the jersey shore and southern portions of south jersey, thats why their winters storm warnings there. The advisory includes i95 corridor, as well as salem, gloucester and camden and northwestern burlington counties, everybody else is in a warning where they could see four to 6 inches of snow, millville, cape may and woodbine and Atlantic City. Future tracker 6 we set it in motion, the snow has moved in. Its snowing moderately in atlantic and cape may counties and sussex and kent counties. 9 visibility is down to less than two miles. Were reporting flakes in gloucester and camden counties in south jersey. Its not snowing in philadelphia or north and west of the city, as well. The air is very, very dry, we have dewpoints presently in the teens and 20s. It will take time for the at to moisturen up north and west. Cape may, wildwood, Atlantic City, stone harbor, all the shorepoints, extreme eastern portions of Cumberland County could see five or six inches of snow with the system. It stretcheses stretches all the way down into the gulf coast, places like alabama and louisiana could see snow. Those folks not equipped to deal with snow. The terrifying incident killed several people and injured dozens and stranded thousands of air travelers. Carnage in the baggage claim in the Fort Lauderdale airport after a shooting rampage. Authorities are holding 26yearold Esteban Santiago for the crime. We have not ruled out terrorism. Reporter but investigators admit they dont know why he suddenly opened fire. A herd of people started running down the way and trampling over people and security yelled everybody hit the floor. Reporter that warning too late for some. This woman was fatally wounded. The urgent calls were heard. Lower level inside we have a subject with gunshots to the head. Reporter travelers look on slt gunman let loose a hail of bullet. A man is bleeding profusely and a woman is yelling help help. He did nothing but shoot. Reporter others ran for their safety. The airport terminals were evacuated some marching away with their hands in the air. Esteban santiago threw down his gun and surrendered without a struggle. He was taken into custody by local police and transported to a mental facility for a Mental Health valuation. Reporter santiagos aunt in new jersey said the exarmy veteran had issues when he returned from iraq a few years ago. New information to tell you about this morning, quick thinking by a worker at the Montgomery County spca saved dozens of animals from a fire. This fire started overnight in the roof of the spca buildings on ridge pike in white marsh township. Ten dogs and 15 cats who were inside are safe thanks to that alert worker. She want to check where the fire alarm was coming from and discovered the problem and notified 911 and the Fire Companies were dispatched suspect, as she started evacuation process of the animals. The animals are okay they are being relocated to perkiomenville and abington. The fire is now under control. A fire damaged a home at the jersey shore. Flames swept through the second and third floors of a house in the 800 block of Plymouth Place in ocean city. No people were in the home at the time of the fire. Fire now out, but its still being investigated. This morning three Allentown Police officers are recovering from a confrontation that happened as they were trying to serve a warrant. A man tried to to get away in hs car and drove into two officers and several vehicles on the 100 block of chew street yesterday. Officers were forced to fire their weapons, they shot the driver who was shot twice in the leg. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The suspect was wanted by the new York Police Department for attempted murder. Residents in northeast philadelphia will spent part of the week assessing the damage from a water main break. The basement of several homes were flooded along millbrook road thursday. Water destroyed appliances and keepsakes and penetrated the walls and floors, look at some of the damage there. The Water Department is trying to figure out what caused the main to rupture. Many wondered if the break was caused by a sing sinkhole on their block that happened in may that was never repaired.
