nydia is off, alicia joins us. hopefully you set your clocks back before you want to bed. most people realized they would get an extra hour of sleep, let's go outside to chris sowers with the accuweather forecast. how is it looking out there? >> reporter: it's very nice. look at the comparison i put together, these are the morning lows from yesterday. lehigh valley far western suburbs, temperatures got into the upper 20s, allentown, pilots, quakertown 29. hammonton and south jersey 30 degrees, smyrna i in delawar, 34. philadelphia, 56. mill millville 57. and atlantic city, 60 degrees. in the span of 24 hours we're 25 degrees warmer thanks to a warm front that's in the process of pushing through. the warmer air will stick around for the most of the seven-day forecast. double scan live as the front pushes through it could trigger a brief shower in spots, maybe a spritz or sprinkle. forecast for today. mostly cloudy, limited sun after that brief morning shower, breezy and warmer with highs sky rocking in the upper 50s. philadelphia 68. if we see more in the way of sun maybe some areas get close to 70 degrees. looking ahead, if you like the 70s you're going to love the seven-day forecast. almost every single day in the search day we'll top out at at least 70 degrees if not higher. we have a nice warmup in store for you, we'll see how long it lasts in the search day forecast when i see you again in just a little bit. eva? >> we have a tragic story developing out of plymouth meeting township montgomery county. a three-alarm fire in an apartment complex that killed a woman. the flames destroyed 18 of the 24 apartments. the action cam was in the 1900 block of sandy hill road. firefighters got their first 911 call before 10:30. when they arrived they found towering flames spitting out of the balcony and a woman on balcony. the woman opened her door and found a wall of smoke, she ran to her balcony and called 911 and waited for the firefighters. >> they climbed up on the ladder and put me on a chair and i had only my pants and shirt and somebody lent me their shoes. >> a woman who was found in her bundler apartment. her fiance tried several times to reach her, but was turned back by the smoke and flames. the buildings did not have sprinklers. there were no reports of any other injuries, the red cross is finding temporary shelter for 26 people. there's no words on -- no word a cause. >> temple football fans watched the thrill and agony of defeat. the temple owls lost to power house notre dame at a jammed packed link. >> reporter: the ultimate philly story, the ultimate underdog but they didn't go down without a fight. >> there's no more victory because they are not here to lose. we love each other, we're going to stay together, we're going to fight, scratch, claw we're not going to lose any more. >> we know we can play with anybody in the country. we took a loss, but like i said before, we have to get back and correct our mistakes. >> what are you going to take from this? >> it will show how good of a team we are. and we have great guys and the character. >> reporter: this is just the beginning for temple football in front of a packed house temple record 69,280 fans. temple proved philadelphia can be a football town after all. at lincoln financial field, channel 6 "action news." >> and you know a record crowd showed up to see the game, almost 70,000 people leaving the link last night. despite the loss there's a good buzz about the temple program. not among the owls faithful. jeff chirico picks up that part of the coverage. >> representing go notre dame. >> it shouldn't hurt temple stock we'll be all right. >> awesome, temple was good, it was a good fight, it was an awesome game. >> reporter: halloween night and a historic gridiron matchup made for an event not even a presidential candidate would miss. >> it was huge for philadelphia. >> reporter: excitement built, the party started hours earlier, food grilled and drinks flowed. >> this is history. reds, we have the corn stalks and the pumpkins and the mums. we have beautiful trees on city avenue. you can see the bright reds and the orange on the sugar maples. over city avenue we have oaks. a nice time of year we're peaking across the delaware valley. south jersey they are picking up a little bit of color. the heart of the delaware valley is in peak form. if you enjoy looking at the fall foliage, today is a really nice day for that. talking about this yesterday. i know there's route 347 in south jersey off 55 you take it when you're heading to the jersey shore. it gets you into sea isle city avalon. the entire road for miles is gorgeous, with reds and yellows and oranges everywhere. we have mild temperatures, so i'm wearing a jacket right now, but i probably don't need it. 56 in house and collapsed on the floor. he was rushed to cooper trauma center where he was pronounced dead. there were no arrests and no word on what sparked that shooting. a woman was hospitalized after her car crashed on 202 in fairfax, delaware. police say the woman lost control of the car and ran off the road an hit a guardrail around 1:00 p.m. she was taken to christiana hospital with non-life threatening injuries. philadelphia police are looking for a hit-and-run driver that culprit took off in the scene in a famous cape. he struck a pedestrian, he jumped out of the truck and ran. this happened during the temple notre dame game. the victim was taken to jefferson university hospital with injuries to his face. the search will continue today at the site of the el faro row wreckage. search crews believe the wreckage of the cargo ship that vanished a month ago. twenty down 15,000 feet east of the bahamas. the sonar shows the 790-foot ship in an upright position all in one piece. crews will use a deep sea vehicle to survey the area. 28 americans were on board. islamist extremist claim they brought down a russian passenger airline over the sinai peninsula is not credible. the crash took off killing 224 people including 25 children. an isis affiliate claimed responsibility for downing the plane, but offered no evidence and international officials say there's no indication of terrorism. investigators think a technical issue caused the disaster. u.s. secretary of state john kerry offered condolences to people grieving the crash victims. >> the initial reports represent treaters we often get 300 kids. barbara mischy dressed as ruth bader ginsburg took advantage of the holiday. she turned the block into a the monster mash. we got the permit and it was safer for the off, nap time and bedtime will be, too. that can translate to tiredness. kids don't show it the same way adults do. >> kids don't ask their parents for an extra nap when they had a bad night's sleep. they become cranky. >> reporter: sleep doctors recommend gradually shifting bedtimes the same always families do before school starts. in fall put baby to bed ten to 15 minutes later each night. in spring move the bedtime earlier. don't let the last nap end too late in the afternoon or it may be hard to fall asleep and stay asleep. some parents have success with sunrise simulator alarm clocks.
