numbers were similar to what we're seeing now with the numbers decreasing in the afternoon. today they will stay in the 70s all day long. it will be a rather oppressive finish to the weekend with all the humidity building. satellite and radar, there's the approaching cold front. we'll start out with sunshine, increase the clouds and see the heavy showers and thunderstorms develop later on. forecast, mostly cloth cloudy, starting out with sun, 88 degrees will feel like 94, 95 with all the humidity. be on the look out for a late-day shower or thunderstorm, some of which could be on the can get the seven-day forecast and check radar at 6abc.com/weather. new overnight, fire razeed a montgomery home that was sold. the certain is on for what sparked. smoke bellowed from the home in pine valley. the home was being repaired at the time of the fire. a person passing by noticed the flames. by the time firefighters got there the blaze was raging. the home was sold two weeks ago for $729,000. the fire is under control and no injuries were reported. burlington county authorities continue their pursuit of a shooter who killed a man. a child was injured in the violence. jeff chirico has more on the manhunt from burlington. >> an extensive search of the neighborhood was completed, to no avail. the suspect is on the loose. >> reporter: burlington police are looking for a shooter on federal street. the child has non-life threaten injuries, the child was injured. police say they are confident the gunman is not hiding out in the yorkshire neighborhood. >> investigation is preliminary, i don't want to give any false hopes to anybody. we have made progress. i want could consult with the prosecutor's office and our detective's before we reveal anything about the investigation. >> reporter: police say the five-year-old girl was shot an injured in some way. doctors are trying to figure out how. the 24-year-old man died at the hospital. police are searching for his killer. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." >> 6:04 if you're just waking up, ryan lochte is placing blame on himself in an interview about the robbery in row io. police say the video proves they were not robbed. matt gutman has more on the emotional interview with ryan lochte. >> reporter: ryan lochte on camera for the first time after he told the brazilian police a fabricated incident at a rio gas station. >> i over fabricated the story. >> reporter: stopping short when he lied. >> whether you call it a robbery or extortion or us paying for the damages, we don't know. >> reporter: two of the swimmers now in the video blaming lochte for inflaming a standoff that had them hauled into two politicians in rio. questioned about lochte's version of events. >> he cocked and put it to my forward. >> reporter: after a weekend of slient -- silent solidarity with lochte, they are convicting the story. they said they pulled into the gas station. gunnar bentz said we foolishly relieved ourselves behind the gas station on the bushes. he pulled a framed sign. there was a heated exchange, here you can see the swimmers sitting, lochte standing that's the point that lochte inflamed the situation. again, i cannot speak to his actions, but ryan stood up and began to yell at the guards after jack and i tugged at him in an attempt to get him to sit down. it was then the guard pulled a gun. a customer offered to help and defuse the standoff. lochte released his own tepid apology about not more candid in describing the event. >> no police, no police. >> reporter: they were saying no here, it's just now pushing through the western portions of the keystone state this morning. as this travels east it's going to encounter a warm, soupy air mass right over top of the i-95 corridor from richmond to new york city and boston. we'll get showers and thunderstorms as a result. hopefully these storms behave themselves later on. 2:00 p.m., we'll see showers arena storms develop. when you see the reds in the purple colors here that's a drenching downpour with all the moisture in the air you'll feel the muggies today. with all the moisture in the air any one of these storms could produce drenching downpours they will not sit over you for an hour, but there will be a drenching downpour. well get thunderstorms and cloudy conditions, this will linger through the evening hours before exiting the coast around 10:30. skies open up and becoming mostly cloudy to start and partly cloudy by dawn. then lowering humidity levels and temperatures in the 80s north and west. heavy "action news" was at the corn wells fire company where people dropped off nonperishable fooled and basic items going to the people of louisiana. >> a man survived after being shot by 6 bullets in philadelphia. the gunfire erupted around 1:00 p.m. in west mount airy at the corner of vernon and mansfield street. the victim was taken to einstein and is in stable condition. we're learning about the hit-and-run that killed a woman in a wheelchair in north philadelphia. it happened at masher and lehigh avenue. police say the drunk driver of the truck hit the woman in a wheelchair and second person near her. the truck went through a red light and the officer saw him and pulled it over. the driver is charged with homicide by vehicle. day two for convicted pedophile, jerry sandusky is going to happen tomorrow. he is pushing for a new trial saying the first attorney did not provide an adequate defense. he spoke for the first time at day one of appeals hearing back on august 12. >> by now, you know grocery stores in pennsylvania can sell wine. which ones are doing it and how long will it take others to get on board.
