>> reporter: today is a lot better. we have better news in the forecast. let's go live on sky of. we'll get you a view of the center city skyline. we're doing a lot better than we were yesterday when we had the showers and the system pushing in from the northwest. the system has pushed to the south and we have mainly cloudy conditions at the moment. we're expecting an increase in sunshine always the day wears on. 63 in trenton. 62 in allentown. there's our 65. millville, 62 and sea isle city, 66 degrees. poconos are down into 50s, we have a little bit of patchy fog left over from yesterday's system, reading down to a half mile. five miles in allentown. everybody is doing okay, drier air will work its way in from the northwest. we've shut off that ocean flow now that the frontal system is down through the virginias and the carolinas. yesterday we had the wind out of the east, northeast, the whole day was miserable, lots of clouds and on and off showers, it made for a yucky start to the weekend. 75 degrees by lunchtime, 80 degrees by 3:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m., down to 78. we're shooting for a high of 80 degrees, it's a warmer day, no humidity out there, a lot brighter, as well. when i come back we'll talk about a warmup, temperatures could flirt with 90 degrees. >> police say a car carrying five people dumped a naked man on to a south philadelphia street. officers in a patrol car saw the incident at 4:00 a.m. they say the man was thrown out of the mercury along columbus boulevard. a few moments later police stopped the vehicle. officers are questioning the two men and three women who were inside. police found the victim's clothes about a block from where he was left off. the man is being evaluated at university of jefferson hospital. the search is on for the killers for the execution style 6 two women inside their mayfair home. kenneth moten has the details. >> reporter: saturday night philadelphia crime scene investigators brought in lights and more after the murder of two women inside this home on vils at vils -- vista street. one victim was discovered in the living room, the other in a second floor living room. >> what's wrong with the world, that's what went through my head. >> reporter: family members identify the woman and homeowner, hardware brother said he had made a grocery store run, and he dropped her off, at 5:30 a.m., he got the call. miss evans was known as grandma. she received death threats, but nobody knows why. >> she liked to cook, the homeless, she helped them. ruby thomas was the second victim. she was staying with evans a few months. >> my sister she never bothered a soul, she would come and clean your house do anything in the world just to get by. >> reporter: as investigator work to pete's the thing together torched the killer, those who knew the women are pleading for information. >> i hope they find what happened, anything positive, say something, that could ventricle your grandmom. >> reporter: the homeowners family said her grandson survived a shooting last month, there were no arrests and they don't know if that's connected. police couldn't confirm the shooting, but said everything is under investigation. kenneth moten channel 6 "action news." >> philadelphia police are investigating a murder in northeast philadelphia officers say the victim was hit first by a car on the 4700 block of ramona street and someone shot him in the chest and stomach. he was found dead in front of a nearby cemetary. the honda civic that hit the man was found on fire. police are looking for two suspects. the victim's name has not been released. the search is on for a man who posed as a police officer and sexually assaulted a woman working in a trenton store. police say this man walked into a store on the 800 block of north broad street yesterday afternoon. the female employee was alone in the store at the time. police say he identified himself as an officer and took her into the bathroom and sexually assaulted her. >> at this time we believe the individual passed himself off as a police officer. he showed a badge or what appeared to be a badge, he was armed with a handle gun and he had a radio in his hand. >> the suspect walked out of the store flagged down a tan toyota corolla and took off. police don't think the car was involved. if anyone has any information call trenton police. new this morning, police are investigating a burglary at a church in marlton, new jersey. somebody broke into the office of saint isaac catholic church. several offices were ransacked and the walls cleared as the burglars searched for a safe. they got away with several hundred dollars in the cash. a television was stolen from the same church a few months ago. i495 north is wilmington is open for traffic again. the delaware department of transportation opened the northbound side of the bridge crossing the christiana river yesterday. tilting support columns caused the bridge to close in early june. that created headaches for tens of thousands of drivers. crude were able to repair and open the southbound side of the bridge july 31. drivers couldn't be heavier now that the entire bridge is open to traffic again. >> i think it's great because i drove up to philadelphia this morning i got stuck on i-95, and i am going home on 495. >> it's going to be great because my niece goes to work everyday, naamans road. she'll be happy i have to tell her that. >> reporter: the owners of the land around the bridge have issued violations for dumping a large mound of dirt next to the support columns. >> good news home had two feet of water inside. this is all due to the severe storms that moved through the area on friday night. >> in our area we had rain but nothing quite like that. >> reporter: not even close, just enough to wreck the day. let's look at sky 6, indeed it did, as we take a look at the sunshine. we're not dealing with rain or clouds or anything this morning. we have a lot of sunshine, high pressure is in control today. that means we'll see a lot of bright blue. another day of comfortable temperatures. speaking of comfortable temperatures, get a load of these numbers, 54 degrees in the poconos, very, very cool for this time of the year. allen up to, 62. philadelphia, 65. trenton, 63. millville, 62. milder on the water, because the ocean temperatures are in the low to mid 70s. so we're seeing air temperatures in the mid 60s. the satellite and radar composite if you look at the back door cold front, you can see the clouds drifting down to the south. that's following the cold front that swept through yesterday. that's what produced all the miserable weather. as we go wider we can see the pattern that's taking shape there. there's the back-door cold front there. we have an area of trailing low pressure here. high pressure will dominate the pattern the next couple of days, while it's on top of us, it will be cooler than average. but always the slims off the coast we'll get into the warm, soupy sectors on friday. temperatures will feel more like august. we'll get into the upper 80s, it will feel more like the way it should for this time of year. here's future tracker 6. we'll let this run through wednesday. there's nothing going on. high pressure over top of us today, tomorrow, tuesday, wednesday, looks good. even thursday there's an outside shot of a pop-up thunderstorm thursday afternoon with an approaching frontal system. for the most part, thursday looks good, as well. this is tropical fretion -- depression number 4. the hurricane hunters have found circulation, it's sitting over the turks and caicos islands. think of it as a layered cake. when you have sheering it takes the top part of the storm and pushes it away from the bottom part of the storm it causes the storm to collapse. it inhabits the growth. once the storm move to the north it's it gets out of that sheering environment and allows it to strength. most of the forecast models taicts it to the north -- take it to the north an take it out so sea. we're seeing water temperatures in the low to mid 80s, this is plenty warm enough for this storm to strengthen. it's something we'll continue to watch over the next few days, the general idea that storm misses us out to sea and takes a right hand turn between cape harptous and -- hatteras and bermuda. down the shore, 77 degrees on the sand, 3 to 4-foot waves. there's a moderate risk for rip currents. 80 degrees today, leftover morning fog, we're getting rid of that now. mostly sunny skies, winds are light out of the northeast. 78 degrees toward 80 around # p.m. 6:00 p.m., 78 degrees. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, 84 degrees monday sunny and pleasant. tuesday, nice, sunny, 85. wednesday, warm and humid, 89 degrees. there's the outside shot areas get close to 90. if not a little bit warmer. thursday, warm, 87. there could be a thunderstorm late in the day. better chance, though as we move into
