this noon, a bouncer at a local bar has now been charged in the murder of the bar's manager. and officials say that smoke detectors saved an entire family from a house fire in delaware county. but the big story on "action news" is the final countdown to donald trump taking over the white house. in two days president obama will hand over the reigns, crews are hard at work ahead of friday's main event and the bleachers are going up and barricades are in place to protect trump and the crowd at the inauguration. stephanie ramos is joining us live now. >> reporter: sara, president-elect trump was in washington last night but plans ongoing back and forth from d.c. to new york until the eve of the nomination. donald trump at the first of many inauguration festivities at our nation's capital with running mate mike pence. the black tie gala passed with nearly 200 foreign diplomats. across the way protest evers gathered outside of trump hotel including a man that tried to light himself on fire. and the president-elect front and center toasting his cabinet pick with a shout-out to ceo, rex tillerson. >> he goes into a country and taking the oil and then goes into other country -- >> dreary afternoon we have lots of fog and skies are looking gloomy as we look live from sky 6 hd at philadelphia international airport. meteorologist, karen rogers, is in for david murphy with a first check of the forecast. >> reporter: hi sara, it's damp and dreary out here, a cool breeze switched out of the northwest and picking up a little bit more. i want to show you stormtracker 6 live double scan it's dry currently in philadelphia and the showers are down to the south now, a weak wave of low pressure rolling through and in wilmington you are about to get wet. you see the showers moving to the south and east in salem and route 13 in delaware and along 55 particularly wet near glassboro and more along mays landing and 322 in hammonton. so feeling damp and dreary and showers south of the city. satellite 6 along with action radar showing lots of clouds it's hard pressed to find breaks in the clouds, we see them in washington and baltimore and the temperatures jumped up with a peek of sunshine or two. we are stuck in the clouds in philadelphia and a few more showers out to the west that could possibly roll through, we are looking at clouds and a chance of a spotty shower. i was noticing visibility reports, still 1.5 mile visibility in toms river and a touch of fog in millville. and some spots low clouds are lingering. 41 in saint david and 45 in center city. we are above the average high, 46 in woodbine and 46 in dover delaware and a better chance of getting the numbers to climb up there. your evening commute is not terribly wet and an evening shower out by 4:00, with lots of clouds and a peek of sunshine and breezy and by 7:00 you saw the number at 47 degrees. temperatures holding at 50 for your high today and quickly falling to the 40s tonight. i'll step inside and talk about a better forecast for tomorrow coming up in just a minute. >> from our delaware newsroom, more gun fire erupted in wilmington. a man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition on the 200 block of north rodney street. shell casings were littered across the area and on monday the city announced new crime fighting efforts in the first two weeks of 2017. the bouncer of a local bar in philadelphia is charged in the murder of the bar manager. earlier today 28-year-old edward morgan was arraigned for the deadly shooting at sharon's little spot in german town. saying he killed christopher johnson during an argument in the back room. and in montgomery a 24-year-old woman went to court on homicide charges for allegedly supplying heroin to an overdose victim. >> reporter: this morning the defendant waived her preliminary hearing, they want to send a message that if they sell to someone that dies they could be held responsible. >> she is waiving her preliminary hearing, she faces multiple charges including drug delivery resulting in death and manslaughter if the death of michael pastrino. she was arrested the day after he was found dead if his home. the suspect admitted selling heroin to the victim and tests revealed she later sold fentanyl 50 to 100 times stronger. >> she took a lot from me and our 8-year-old daughter. his fiance was in court today and he admitted he had a problem following an injury and wanted to seek help before his death. >> i was aware he had a drug problem but was not aware that he was as deep into it as he was. but i don't believe he ever intended on doing too much to die. >> the district attorney's office says it's not unusual for an alleged drug dealer to face these charges. but hope to send a message. >> the heroin epidemic going on that damaged a car on the vine street expressway came from a construction site. the driver says she was traveling under the overpass near 0th and the parkway when a foot long piece of metal crashed through her car. it hit the windshield and bounced and shattered her back window. former president, george h.w. bush remains hospitalized in houston, texas. the 92-year-old was taken to the hospital for shortness of breath and he is responding well to treatment and bush is expected to go home in a couple of days. president obama is getting ready for hi final news conference as commander and chief temple university school of media and communication is now called the lou klein college. today's official name change honored a broadcast pioneer that holds a special place into "action news" history. is what to expect with the forecast. gloomy and damp and dreary but sun returns tomorrow. you'll get the sunshine coming back at you and more rain on friday. we are hard pressed to get a couple of sunny days in a row and that is the way the forecast continues to be. these morning lows didn't feel like a morning in january. 41 was the morning low and the average high on this date is 41 degrees. we started the day above the average high. normally we get down to 25. it was mild to start but doesn't feel good out there when you factor in the clouds and damp conditions, we are up to 46 degrees, we are going above average and the dew point is 40 degrees not completely saturated and the pressure holding steady north and light. it will pick up this afternoon and become breezy than helps to dry things out a bit and see a sliver of fine and the ocean temperature is 41 degrees, satellite 6 along with action radar showing we are stuck in the clouds and see this area of low pressure pushing through and some showers here and there. and i want to show you what is happening in washington down to the south they are getting breaks of sun and temperatures respond to that, and a peek of sunshine or two these numbers go up and here is how the forecast looked for the afternoon, lots of clouds continuing and dry by 2:00 or 3:00. 50 degrees is your high and by 2:0049 and upper 40s at 6:00 and 10:00, 40 degrees and partly cloudy in the overnight and some clouded start to break up a bit. in the lehigh valley only in the upper 40s and 50 in the city and farther to the south we think the numbers will jump up more in dover low 50s and 51 in millville. tomorrow though high pressure is right up above and a good amount of sunshine you'll get high, thin clouds filtering through the clouds but it will be better. and then rain again on friday. here is your exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast lots of clouds today and 50 degrees for your high and damp right now, tomorrow finally some sunshine returning and bump up to 54 and friday late day rain, it looks like you start okay but later in the afternoon and evening, 49 for the high and saturday turning milder 56 for your
