The first over to the east of philadelphia where theres scattered showers and thunderstorms pushing toward the ocean. Then to the west some thunderstorms out by gettysburg pushing up towards lancaster and perhaps reading over the next hour or so. Another cluster of showers and developing thunderstorms on the other side of baltimore so were in a lull right now but theres more action to come. As you take a look at the wide view on satellite even more showers and perhaps some thunderstorms farther to the west in West Virginia and virginia and it looks like were going to be in and out of that stuff for the rest of the day off and on into the evening. Visibility is now under a mile in philadelphia as well as a half mile thats about all you can see down the road in wilmington so slow it down in those areas with the gray. 50 degrees currently in philadelphia, 49 in allentown, 51 in reading. These or in wilmington i should say. These arent bad numbers this morning. As we get through the day well cool it down a little bit. It looks like well see a high of 63 around 4 oclock hovering in the low 60s for most of the afternoon and every now and then a spotty shower or thunderstorm possible. Ill track those storms for you on future tracker6 coming up in just a few minutes. Karen. Looking down on the ben franklin bridge, you really see the fog here and hard to see much of anything else. Yeah, as we take a look outside on storm tracker6 live double scan its also a little bit damp. Weve got some showers and thunderstorms that are moving toward the east of philadelphia and some of these still showing some active lightning over in ocean county. If we go in a little bit closer after the lapse you can see the movement, all of this stuff is pushing toward the east, we do have some of this now pushing out of northern Burlington County and away from georgetown and wrightstown but thats a big cluster heading towards Seaside Heights and then of course out to the west theres also a second batch of rain developing. Some of this has been producing lightning strikes recently out just to the west of lancaster and theres also a little bit of that to the west of baltimore. All of this heading toward the east. As we take a look outside, we have sky6 and we are looking at obviously some foggy conditions at the airport. I just realized i didnt have that close up radar on when i was showing it to you so let me show it to you again. There is the shower and thunderstorm activity in Burlington County pushing to the east and there is the stuff out in gettysburg and baltimore coming in probably toward the end of the morning rush hour the way things are timing right now. Temperatures are not too bad. 50 degrees in philadelphia, 51 in wilmington, still 49 in allentown. Not much wind out there and obviously some patchy fog. In terms of rain future tracker6 shows you that between now and noon were probably going to be seeing the reemergence of more showers and perhaps some thunderstorms. These arent going to be severe storms but they are going to be producing lightning as they always do and also the potential for some brief drenching downpours so you probably want to take cover from these even if they arent throwing out warnings for severe weather. By 3 oclock, it still looks pretty damp with some off and on showers through parts of the region and by 6 oclock, a couple of more thunderstorms perhaps rotating through the region and and some showers elsewhere. It looks like most of this gets over to the east of us by 11 oclock but adam and cecily will probably still have something to show you on radar later tonight. 59 degrees is your high in the lehigh valley. Mostly cloudy skies, spotty showers certainly cant be ruled out and maybe a thunderstorm. At the shore its more of the same, lots of clouds today, spotty showers, a thunderstorm possible, 58 degrees is the high there. And in philadelphia ta high of 63, lots of clouds with an occasional shower or thunderstorm. Keep in mind that it will not be showering and thunderstorming all day but the chance that one could pop up at just about any time exists all day. 48 is the overnight low, mostly cloudy and evening showers and as you saw on future tracker it all wraps up later tonight. Your exclusive accuweather 7day, 63 today, cloudy skies for the most part, a spotty shower or thunderstorm at times and then tomorrow a nice day, partly sunny and breezy, 64 degrees. And sunny on thursday a little cooler, 57. Fridays the day when we expect the next round of rain r it could be soaking rain at times, periods of rain particularly in the afternoon and at night on friday. Some of that could spill into saturday morning but saturday afternoon we dry out, maybe get a peak or two of sunshine and a high of 60. Second half of the weekend looks good, partly sunny and 61 on sunday. Half aint bad. Yeah. Thank you david. Officer ambush. Undercover police are struck by gunfire in florida. As we look live this is 309 at easton road and we can see traffic is moving okay but kind of hard to see as you look at the shot so fog reducing visibility, roads are a little wet, live in Fort Washington looking okay on 309.
