spring has sprung starting today and the next couple of days, but first we have to get through a dense fog in parts of the area. >> karen rogers has that and david murphy is outside looking at the fog. >> reporter: we have fine mist floating around the terrace, that's because of the low lying fog near the surface. everybody basically outside the lehigh valley visibility is down to a quarter mile, low beams better than high beams, be careful of school kids trying to get to the bus stops, they will might be harder to see if you're driving too quickly. above the surface cloud cover we have breaks in the clouds, once we get rid of the fog we'll have partly sunny skies. 45 in millville. 45 in trenton. colder in allentown, 35 and 38 in reading. not much wind this morning. as we roll through the day, the fog gets out of here after 9:00, 10:00, noon, 56. we zoom this afternoon, a temperature of 68 by 3:00 p.m., high of 70 probably around 4:00 p.m. before diving back to the low 70s by 7:00 p.m. we're mild for the next several days. there's a threat of rain and passing thunderstorm on saturday, i'll track that on future tracker 6 coming up. karen are you seeing much fog out there. we'll take you on a camera tour and show you the fog, this is i-95 near allegheny, this is southbound traffic you see the fog in the distance, a little damp as david mentioned with the low clouds and misting under neat that. southbound traffic jammed from approaching allegheny to the vine. we had a disabled vehicle that was blocking the lane that cleared. slow on i-95. you can see the fog as you look at this shot, the vine street expressway near broad street. all the lanes and ramps are reopened because of the instruction. fog is an issue in center city. how about chester county switching over to the 30 bypass at 322 you can see the fog everyone is traveling a little more slowly with the building volume eastbound at 322. in new jersey, carney's point salem county, new jersey turnpike north of the delaware memorial bridge, because of the fog there's a 50-mile an hour speed restriction on the new jersey turnpike, you can't go past that, you have to slow it down a little bit. you can see why as you look at the shot. 42 not as foggy as what we saw there, northbound traffic moving okay at this point. >> gunfire erupted in the city's west oak lane section we know that two people were hit. it happened on the 2400 block of 77th avenue at 2:00 a.m. two men were shot in the leg, they found a third man injured and bleeding nearby, they say he has been uncooperative. all three victims are in stable condition. we'll have a live report in the next half-hour. now only on "action news," an 8-year-old girl continues to recover from being stabbed in the head. her neighbor in delaware county waged the attack. "action news" spoke with the family about what happened. katherine scott joins us live in collingdale with that story. katherine. >> reporter: matt, the 8-year-old victim is recovering at home after this happened last week her parents are speaking out about the terrifying ordeal. >> that is sick, it just make my sick in my stomach. >> reporter: sarah and alvin deagan spoke to "action news" days after their daughter 8-year-old dorothy was stabbed in the head. 21-year-old bashir attacked her with a booch -- butcher knife. alvin took off his shirt and wrapped it around his daughter's head. >> it's not easy to see a little child blood shooting like that. >> reporter: little dorothy got a number of stitches and bashir was arrested. bashir said she was not happy with the child's babysitting skills. the victim's mother said she was too young to baby-sit. >> it was all lies there was no babysitting. it was just lies. >> reporter: bashir is being held on $250,000 cash bail which so far she has been unable to post. she has a preliminary hearing scheduled for next tuesday. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thank you for that. new this morning, police are calling it an unusual crime scene, a man was shot in the face and dragged 80 feet. the shooting happened late last night on the 2400 block of north patton street. when they got there they found the victim in a vacant parking lot. witnesses said he was dragged there from a nearby home. several shots were fired, but they are looking for the spent shell casings, investigators are looking for the shooter. and we're waiting to see if the driver will be charged after that, crashing into a home in upper darby, chopper 6 hd was over the scene on the 7100 block of marshall road. surveillance video shows the moment there it happens, the similar slams into the home. it knocked down a parking meter and went into a bedroom. nobody in the home was hurt. the police officer was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. first responders in the lehigh valley helped a woman who was being stabbed. a man stabbed his wife and daughter-in-law inside a car. two emt workers were driving by and able to hold the man down until police arrived. >> he went after her and got out of the car and trying to jumped at her and we somehow knocked him down where he couldn't get her. >> the daughter-in-law is in critical condition, the mother suffered moderate injuries. police are trying to figure out the motive. 6:07. you probably are not making a lot of money on any of the money you are sitting in the accounts on in of wind and numbers are mild for this time of the career. visibility is improving in atlantic city. we saw that on sky6 live hd over the last hour, still a half mile toms river in philadelphia. a lot of spots reporting a third of a mile visibility. this could fluctuate as we go through the morning. dense fog advisory until 10:00 a.m. hopefully things get better before that, but we'll see. above the fog we have break in the surface clouds. up in the lehigh valley, partly sunny, and you'll get up to 62 in atlantic city with partly sunny skies, in philadelphia, we'll go for a temperature of about 70 we'll miss the record. it will be partly sunny and warm for this time of the year. winds out of the southwest at 7 to 14 miles per hour. overnight tonight, partly clothed and still mild, 54 is the overnight low, winds easing back a little bit. tomorrow, a warm front passes a cold front from the west, warm air surging up from the south gets us to 72. sun and clouds, 20 to 30 degrees above average. then we head into saturday it's still very warm high of 74, shy of the 79-degree record. in the afternoon there will be a period where a shower or thunderstorm comes through. future tracker 6 last month with the new sweeten beverage tax, the revenue totaled $5.7 million which is a bit of a shocker, because the city projected 2.3 million in revenue. city officials expect the number to grow because they believe many beverage distributers stocked up on inventory before going into effect. mayor kenny signed the tax into law for pre-k services in philadelphia. sky6 live hd has its eye on blocking two lanes. you have one lane squeezing by in this area a mess of a an accident. speeds 25 miles per hour. police say they think there's a fuel spill, they are unclear how much fuel has spilled out. nobody was injured, but an overturned tractor-trailer causing a problem, route 73 southbound burlington county approaching route 90 blocking two lanes, so traffic kind of squeezing by in what is a busy area out there. be careful with that. now, let's look outside with the fog, the garden state parkway at the cape may toll plaza, not as bad here, because of the fog we have 45-mile an deal, some of the roads wet, as well. in new jersey, we have a problem in cinnaminson, burlington county, i talk to police, they said it's an overturned tractor-trailer that's blocking two lanes 73 southbound in cinnaminson, a busy area there's a fuel spill, a mess of a an accident crawling at 13 miles per hour. we're seeing delays on 73 as well as 90 cinnaminson, burlington county, new jersey. watch for that one. on the ben franklin bridge, we're live right now, you can see the fog creating a problem here. no speed restrictions on the ben. we have speed restrictions on the walt whitman bridge, and the commodore barry bridge, 25 miles per hour it is just hard to see with the fog out there. let's take another look, a look in center city, vine street expressway, fog an issue here, use the low beams and slow it down, tam. breaking right now, a bizarre crime in west oak lane have police busy, two people were shot and one jumped through a we bedroom window, there's questions about what happened here. >> reporter: police know there was a double shooting inside a home that sent two shooting victims to the hospital. there was a third man was actually discovered near the home down an alley, they say he was blood idea and injured, it is not clear if he was the victim of a shooting or if he just stained injuries after jumping through a large glass window. take a look at the video, this is video from the scene, this happened just before 2:00 a.m. when police responded to reports of a shooting in the residence in the 240000 block of -- 2400 block of 77th avenue. two victims were found shot in the leg. both were sent to einstein. they found shell casings leading to the bedroom. in the back of the house, police discovered a gun and broken window, the gun on the porch. not far from there they discovered a third man injured and bleeding and dragging a chair of initially not cooperating with police. police believed the injuries were sustained from jumping through the glass wood. it is not -- glass window. it is not clear if he was the victim of a shooting, police are treating him as a suspect. >> we believe the third victim who was being uncooperative jumped out the window and dropped his weapon on the deck when police found him and transported him to einstein hospital. >> and the two men discovered shot inside the home transported to the hospital we are told are in stable condition and expected to be okay. as the third man, we're waiting to confirm his injuries, but we are told he is in stable condition, as well. reporting live in west oak lane, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> thank you annie. officer are investigate deadly gunfire in port richmond section, a victim was shot in the head. there were no arrests or motive for the shooting. new on "action news," four children were removed from a bucks county home after what police found inside. take a look at the photos that officers took inside the falls township trailer. it was serious enough to file child endangerment charges. five people were arrested in connection with a robbery that brought police to the home in the first place. classes will start on time in perkisie bucks county despite a small fire last night. the sprinkler system did its job and crews cleaned up damage to the classrooms on the third floor. and electrical malfunction sparked the flames. have traffic trouble with the fog, we have an overturned trailer cinnaminson, burlington county, route 73 near route 90. there's a fuel spill blocking two lanes, they are responding to the scene and it is creating big problems. if you're coming into new jersey in burlington county, you don't want to come in on the tacony-palmyra bridge you will hit the slow speeds, you don't want to come in on the betsy ross bridge, the best bet the ben franklin bridge. we're looking live at the ben franklin bridge when you do that, you're traveling in this. the fog is a big deal as you head out. our camera is high looking down at the fog, nonetheless hard to see. we don't have speed restrictions here, but we have them on the walt whitman bridge, the commodore barry bridge, we're talking 25 miles per hour. be careful with that. let's take another look right here, this is staying in new jersey, it got a little worse on the new jersey turnpike north of the delaware memorial bridge in salem county, the turnpike has put in 50-mile an hour speed maximum. you need to be careful you can't go higher than that on the turnpike, plus it's hard to see. it's not a good idea to go higher than that. 322 eastbound traffic heavy as you move along 30 bypass, no problems there. the burlington county bridge, 11 miles per hour approaching belmont, fog is creating a problem out there. matt. >> indeed it is.
