As we take a look outside there are some low clouds around but those are going to break up pretty quickly and we should transition to at least partly sunny skies today. The Commodore Barry bridge almost looks like the sky is getting a little bit brighter over the top of the bridge but in philadelphia there are a fair amount of low clouds early on. On to Hurricane Matthew we go and storm has dropped to category three. It had been a four but it weakened a little bit as it came across the high mountains and land mass of eastern cuba. Does expect though to go back to a category four as it plows up through the bahamas over the next couple of days and its position on thursday afternoon is probably over the northern bahamas and not all that far away from florida. It does look like it passes close to the Florida East Coast as a category four before dropping to a two off georgia. So, all of those evacuation plans and preparations that theyre doing in florida definitely warranted as that storm is going to be close to the coast with 110 Miles Per Hour central core winds. Heres the change though. And this is just come in from the National Hurricane center over the last hour or so. It does look like in the latest track that this storm no longer makes landfall along the carolinas. It actually bends the path straight out to sea well below us and this is the first forecast from the Hurricane Center in the last several days where the cone of uncertainty for this storm doesnt include us. If this holds things are going look a lot better around here for the weekend. Spaghetti plot models pretty much with the same idea since last night. A big change with matthew and right now it is looking better for us this week. Still three plus days out though. Storm tracker6 live double scan right now shows you that we are dry this morning. And as we take a look outside, a lot of the early cloud cover we have been watching across the region has already begun to evaporate and it could be that in a large portion of the area you wind up way good deal of sunshine early. Some of you might get stuck with early cloud cover but were all going transition to basically partly sunny skies during the afternoon. Temperature right now is cool, 56 degrees, a lot of you probably wander to get that jacket on want to get that jacket on this morning. Winds are fairly light at 7 miles an hour. Your 12hour forecast its cool to start out. 56 degrees by 8 oclock and still only 60 by 10 oclock. But by noon 66 and by 3 oclock 71 degrees, very nice and comfortable this afternoon with a light breeze. By 5 oclock down to 70 and probably holding on to 70 by 6 oclock this evening. Low 70s from philadelphia up to allentown. Up are 60s in millville and dover and mid 60s down the shore today. On to matthew and the immediate future of matthew looks very much like it has for the last couple of days on the forecast track from the Hurricane Center. The storm is pushing up toward the bahamas right now. It has dropped to a category three as it interacted with the mountains of eastern cuba but it is expected over the next day or so to get back up to a category four and by thursday afternoon, coming through the northern bahamas really battering these islands and getting very close to florida. Then it looks like it stays a category four as it goes up past florida and then quickly drops to a category two off the coast of georgia. But all of those evacuation plans and preps that theyre doing in florida and along the georgia and carolina coasts stale real good idea as that looks like its going to be a strong storm close by. But heres the change and this is brand new from the Hurricane Center just over the last 90 minutes. You can see that the storm no longer looks to make its most likely track as landfall along the carolina coast and it now looks like its pushing so far out to sea so far south from us that for the first time this morning the Hurricane Center is designing a potential track of this storm that doesnt include our area. If this holds true, it would be minimal or no impact for us. The only impact wed have is probably a little rough surf down the shore. Well see if that changes. We have a long time to go to see whether that happens but even the spaghetti plots from last night were starting to like this trends. Theres Tropical Storm nicole. This will have a hard time pushing toward the northwest because of matthew initially but eventually early next week it probably does hook back in our direction. Looks like bermuda is the main threatened area from this and well keep our eyes on nicole. Your exclusive accuweather 7day forecast todays high 71. Nice. 75 tomorrow. Niles. 73 on friday. Nice. Saturday possibility of rain from a cold front coming through. Not matthew if the current Hurricane Center forecast holds true a high of 70 on saturday. Then sunday again with matthew down to the south we expect a dry day breezy and cool. The high of 67. And staying in the mid to upper 60s on monday and tuesday. I talked to my doctor and found a missing piece in my asthma treatment with breo. Oncedaily breo prevents asthma symptoms. Breo is for adults with asthma not well controlled on a longterm asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Breo wont replace a rescue inhaler for sudden breathing problems. Breo opens up airways to help improve breathing for a full 24 hours. Breo contains a type of medicine that increases the risk of death from asthma problems and may increase the risk of hospitalization in children and adolescents. Breo is not for people whose asthma is well controlled on a longterm asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Once your asthma is well controlled, your doctor will decide if you can stop breo and prescribe a different asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Do not take breo more than prescribed. See your doctor if your asthma does not improve or gets worse. Ask your doctor if 24hour breo could be a missing piece for you.
