Tam. Okay, thank you, matt. Developing now, gunfire erupts across from a playground and a rec center in mayfair. Three people were hit and overnight we learned that one of them a teenager has died. Action News Reporter Annie Mccormick is live outside of police headquarters. Shes been tracking this story and joins us with the latest. Good morning, annie. Reporter good morning, tamala. And police have confirmed that a 17yearold has been killed. Another teenager remains in the hospital. Also another adult male is in the hospital. And police say that this could have been even worse because of where this all happened, across the street from a playground and also a rec center. Take a look at this video. According to investigators this all happened just after 9 oclock last night. Multiple 911 calls came into Police Reporting that shots were fired. Fifteenth District Police responded to an alley by the 3100 block of sterling. Witnesses told officers several people fled on bikes or were taken by private vehicle to the hospital. A 21yearold shot in the neck ran to the 15th district for help. Police transported him to the hospital. Two teens, a 16yearold shot in the torso and a 17yearold also shot were taken privately to aria frankford hospital. The 16yearold is still critical. The 17yearold taken in critical died at the hospital. Now, police spent most of the morning combing through the extensive crime scene. We did find not only a lot of blood, we found some discarded bicycles but we also found a revolver on the sidewalk. So, we dont know at this point if that revolver belongs to one of the shooters or one of the victims or if, in fact any of the victims are actually shooters, also. Reporter and investigators were also canvassing the neighborhood for surveillance video. They are also interviewing a number of witnesses. We have updated information on a breaking news story. A woman suffered smoke inhalation in this house fire in West Philadelphia. The action cam is live at the scene on the 5100 block of parish street in West Philadelphia. The fire was showing on the first floor of the unoccupied dwelling but as weve said a woman was injured so someone was in there. Neighboring houses were evacuated and the woman who was injured, a 41yearold, was taken to the hospital. Firefighters have placed this fire under control. A burnt piece of paper found in the gas tank of a Philadelphia Police station cruiser has sparked an attempted arson investigation. There was a burned piece of paper sticking out of the gas tank. Now, the paper was burned butter there was no sign that any flames spread to the tapping tank or the vehicle. This remains under investigation by the police and the fire marshals office.
