record highs and the possibility of a cool down by late week. i'll have the details in just a bit. >> breaking news, bullets fly outside a bar in philadelphia's tie tioga nicetown section. police found shell indicatings on west -- casings on west hunting park avenue. it started when the two men were kicked out of the bar. the men left and returned a short time later. one jumped out of the car and fired 16 shots at employees and patrons standing outside the bar. a bullet hit a customer in the ankle. armed security guards returned fire. the man turned up at einstein hospital with a bullet to the stomach. >> we believe the male is connected to the incident. we don't know if he was a suspect or a patron. >> reporter: that man is in critical condition. police say the security guards have permits to carry guns and are cooperating. >> new this morning, a christmas fire destroyed a west philadelphia family's home. it broke out after 10:00 p.m. on the unit block of north 58. 6 people were home at the time. everyone was ain't to make the it out safely. fire investigators are trying to determine what caused the blaze. drivers across the area got the gift of cheap gas this christmas. prices are averaging 2-dollar a gallon nationwide the lowest in years. jeff chirico spoke with drivers who couldn't be happier. >> reporter: as hole day travelers hit the road -- holiday travelers hit weather. the low gas prices are expected to last well beyond the holidays into february. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." >> dozens of people are still without power after power lines caught fire in west oak lane section of philadelphia. the action cam was there as the wires burned at 17th and 57th avenue. it happened before 9:30. 500 homes and businesses were left without power. that number is down to 70. there's no word on when power will be fully restored. from the delaware newsroom. new castle county police are trying to say to find the man who stabbed one of the relatives on christmas morning. it is victim was stabbed in the torso and arm. the suspect ran off before the police arrived. the man is in the hospital undergoing surgery. an alleged arsonist set the fire at the childhood home of former president, bill clinton. the damage is contained to one room. a driver saw flames shooting from a window and called for help. investigators noticed the smell of an accelerant leading them to rule this suspected arson. the home is a national historic site. president obama is spending his christmas vacation in hawaii. they stopped by a marine corps base. he offered words of binghamton, 35. pittsburgh, 47 that will drift south over the next several hours, 12 to 24 hours. the front lifts back to the north tomorrow, in the form of a warm front we get into the 60s and 70s
