for that. other big picture overall speeds in the 50's for the most part but you want to watch, they are a little bit damp the roads this morning so give yourself a little extra time n port richmond we have an issue here with richmond street remaining closed between lehigh and allegheny. that's until 3 o'clock for some construction they're doing. you'll have to use aramingo as your alternate to that one. and this construction in wynnefield on city avenue past conshohocken of a has been causing problems. construction had been blocking the two lanes. we see they have at least removed the cones but crews are still here on the scene at this point so the construction in the process of clearing out right now. traffic had been getting by just in the turn lane but now that they've removed the cones i think they're going to be leaving this point shortly which is good because that would cause problems if that stayed out here. accident in whitemarsh township on stenton avenue. this disabled vehicle poor guy has been stuck here awhile on bells mill road at paper mill road. tam. >> thank you karen. a hit and run driver knocked a philadelphia police officer airborne and then fled. katherine scott is outside the 17th strict police. she's got the latest. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam. the 26-year-old officer is from here at the 17th district. he remains at the hospital this morning in stable condition. as for the suspect, police are still searching for him. police say they know who he is, they just haven't been able to arrest him yet. let's go to video of the suspect's volkswagen. you can see the shattered windshield. police say that gives you an indication of just how hard this officer was struck. police say the officer was hit with such force he was thrown and landed on a parked car smashing a hole in that windshield. investigators say this happened just after 6:30 last night on the 2700 block of sears in grays ferry. seventeenth district police had responded to the report of a plan with a gun. when is suspect jump need a vehicle and tried to flee by going the wrong way down a one-way street. that's when he struck the officer who suffered a severe head injury, a broken leg and a shattered kneecap. the suspect later abandoned the car at 22nd and ellsworth with passengers inside. >> when he fled on foot in his desperation to get away he left his two passengers in the vehicle an 18-year-old female and an 11-year-old boy were in the car. >> reporter: once again police say they know who they're looking for they just have to find him. block of vermont avenue in rio grande cape play county yesterday afternoon. they have not yet given details about the gender or age of the person or the cause of death. >> a woman with a gun held up a gas station in north philadelphia. police arrived at the exxon on the 3100 block of north broad street just after 2:00 this morning. they're still taking a look at surveillance tape. so far the woman has not been caught and no injuries were reported. philadelphia police and the fbi are searching for a bandaged bank bandit. surveillance photos captured the suspect with a wrapped up hand wearing a 76ers cap. he held up the citizens bank branch on frankford avenue in mayfair yesterday. the man handed the teller a note grabbed some cash and ran away. the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. of the record. then we hit a fourth one because this morning at about 3:00 in the morning, a little bit before then we actually got up to 69 which is a new record high thurifies day. now, that 69 is in the rear-view mirror and we're not going to get that mild again for the rest of the day but four straight days of records really something the way we have had that warm air surge in. there you see the rain going through last night. it is now gone. a lot of cloud cover out to the west but we expect dry air to begin to work its way through those clouds and we should return some sunshine in play. in fact could even get quite a bit of it later today. 56 degrees by 8 o'clock, 58 by 11 o'clock. by 2 o'clock, 62. and 63 is your high around 3 o'clock this afternoon. very warm out there again this afternoon, just not as mild as yesterday. 60 degrees is your high in allentown, 60 in trenton, 71 in reading. keep in mind we are normally in the 40's this time of year so all these numbers look pretty good. 62 in wilmington and more of the same down the shore on or about 60 degrees. tomorrow that rain gets out of here. the related frontal boundary gets on out. high pressure to the north delivers more of a northerly flow and that's going to knock our temperature down a little bit. tomorrow will be a nice day, sunny, not as windy as today but just 57 for a high and then another front comes in on thursday bringing us some rain during the day and behind that front we wind up with cooler air marching in for the weekend. and here you see it in the seven day. your exclusive accuweather 7-day shows 63 today, still mild, not as warm as yesterday but breezy and pretty nice overall. sunny and a little cooler tomorrow. 57 degrees. but still not too bad on wednesday. and then 60 on "action news" reporter annie mccormick is live outside east detectives in the hunting park section with more. annie. >> reporter: and matt that's right, police are still looking for the gunman that hit this little girl, only 11 years old with a stray bullet as she was walking home from school. she was only a half a block from her home at the time that she was struck by that bullet. well, numerous 911 calls brought police to the scene around 3:25 yesterday when the 11-year-old was walking home from school in the 700 block of west luzerne street. at least four shots were fired and a bullet hit her right foot. twenty-fifth district officers arrived on the scene and rushed her to saint christopher's hospital in their cruiser. the little girl is expected to be okay. jose santos walked by as the little girl was hit. >> i was coming -- i was coming from over here to the bar to buy me a beer. >> yes. >> and i see all this shooting, you know, and the little girl, she was coming this way from school. >> uh-huh. >> from the school. and they got her right there, right there by the school they got her and i went back. i don't walk this way because they probably got me, too. >> reporter: and he's saying that he had to run away at the time. many people there wanted to get out of the way as they heard those shots fired, at least four shots fired. now, police do have surveillance video. the camera was pointing in the direction of the gunman much police say that they're looking for a man wearing a black skull cap and a black shirt way brown dragon on the front of that shirt. of course if you have any information you are urged to contact east detectives. for now reporting live outside of east detectives in hunting park, annie mccormick channel6 "action news." >> annie, thanks. newly released security video shows michigan coffee shop employee throwing hot coffee at a customer. the incident happened in west land back in okay. the customer says he asked a female employee to toss out his old cup of coffee. she refused and will she handed him his fresh cup of coffee he began to drive off. then a customer says a male employee threw the hot coffee. the customer returned to the drive through window threw the cold coffee and spit at the employees. the coffee shop released a statement saying they have taken the a appropriate steps to address the "action news" reporter annie mccormick is live outside east detectives in the hunting park section with more. annie. >> reporter: and matt that's right, police are still looking for the gunman that hit this little girl, only 11 years old with a stray bullet as she was walking home from school. she was only a half a block from her home at the time that she was struck by that bullet. well, numerous 911 calls brought police to the scene around 3:25 yesterday when the 11-year-old was walking home from school in the 700 block of west luzerne street. at least four shots were fired and a bullet hit her right foot. twenty-fifth district officers arrived on the scene and rushed her to saint christopher's hospital in their cruiser. the little girl is expected to be okay. jose santos walked by as the little girl was hit. >> i was coming -- i was coming from over here to the bar to buy me a beer. >> yes. >> and i see all this shooting, you know, and the little girl, she was coming this way from school. >> uh-huh. >> from the school. and they got her right there, right there by the school they got her and i went back. i don't walk this way because they probably got me, too. >> reporter: and he's saying that he had to run away at the time. many people there wanted to get out of the way as they heard those shots fired, at least four shots fired. now, police do have surveillance video. the camera was pointing in the direction of the gunman much police say that they're looking for a man wearing a black skull cap and a black shirt way brown dragon on the front of that shirt. of course if you have any information you are urged to contact east detectives. for now reporting live outside of east detectives in hunting park, annie mccormick channel6 "action news." >> annie, thanks. newly released security video shows michigan coffee shop employee throwing hot coffee at a customer. the incident happened in west land back in okay. the customer says he asked a female employee to toss out his old cup of coffee. she refused and will she handed him his fresh cup of coffee he began to drive off. then a customer says a male employee threw the hot coffee. the customer returned to the drive through window threw the cold coffee and spit at the employees. the coffee shop released a statement saying they have taken the a appropriate steps to address the
