And i expect a high of 81 today. Well probably hit that around 3 30 or 4 oclock before sliding back into the upper 70s pie about dinnertime or so. And the car wash situation is not bad. Were looking at no chance of rain the next couple of days, so if your car hasnt been through the washer for awhile and you want to do that this afternoon, not bad. There is a 20 percent chance of perhaps a spotty thunderstorm on friday and then saturday and sunday were looking at an increased chance of precipitation. You can see youre moving only about 32 miles an hour here so watch for that slow go this morning. Also a little slow on the vine street expressway it was shut down overnight for construction and we can see westbound is reopened. Eastbound theyve been in the process of reopening the lanes and the ramps out there. Weve seen some traffic move at least on the vine and crews return tonight at 11 oclock, shut the vine down in both directions. Looking live outside 95 at cottman no problems. Southbound traffic headed towards center city. We had a mess of a morning ride on i95 yesterday morning. So far so good this morning on i95. But we have a new accident here, garden state parkway northbound at new greta tolls,. Breaking news this morning a 16yearold is hospitalized for several gunshot wounds. The bullets went flying as she was gathered with a group of friends on the front steps of a home in southwest philadelphia. Action News Reporter Jeanette Reyes is live at southwest detectives as Police Search for that shooter. Jeanette. Reporter well, matt, those friends are being interviewed here at southwest detectives as we speak. This happened around midnight when the group of mostly 15 and 16yearold girls were standing outside of a home along the 5900 block of springfield avenue where they had just had a barbecue earlier in the day. Those shots suddenly rang out and the victim was hit multiple times by a large caliber handgun. Other bullets pierced the home and shatter windows. The 16yearold girl was hit multiple times before the shooter sped off westbound on springfield toward 60th street. She was rushed to penn presbyterian by police. Meanwhile her friends were quickly taken to southwest detectives here to be interviewed in hopes of getting the suspects description. Take a listen to what police had to say. She has multiple gunshot wounds to her right arm. We dont know if some of those gunshot wounds are through and through but she has at least five gunshot injuries to her arm. So we know she was hit multiple times. Shes the only victim that was hit. Reporter and police have not released a suspect description at this point or a motive. That girl is in stable condition and again, she was the only one injured. Police are trying to get ahold of that surveillance camera footage and hopefully that will lead them to the shooter. On monday, partly sunny skies, were looking at 88 degrees. Very warm conditions out there. A stray thunderstorm not out of the question. And we get into the fourth of july and it looks like a hot one this year with a high around 90 and there could be a couple of popup thunderstorms.
