They are kept inside of city hall for this purpose. They are made in philadelphia and the judges keep voting until one gets a majority and whoever it is holds the job for five and a half months until the election in november. Seems traditional. Way back. That is one word. Adam joseph is joining us now and the mercury is way up. We have the warning, the excessive heat warning through tomorrow and little relief through the weekend as well. Take a look live on sky 6 hd over penns landing the ben franklin bridge we have the hazy sky out there and the atmosphere feels super heavy today with all of that moisture in the air just waiting to be rung out and we dont have a lot of mechanisms in the at post mere to get widespread downpours or thunderstorms. 93 is the temperature in allentown and 93 in trenton, 95 in philadelphia, and a bit better in beach haven, cape may the upper 80s. And we are really hot in lancaster and wilmington also in the lower to middle 90s. Then you factor in the haze, the humidity and feels like 98 philadelphia and on the brink of 100 in trenton and busting over 100, cant laster, wilmington and Atlantic City airport. Basically all areas to the south and even at the shore even at the 80s right now the heat indexes are in the mid up toer 90s. So little relief even with the bit of a sea breeze coming in. Right now on stormtracker 6 live double scan we are pretty quiet and you look way to the north of the poconos, there are storms rocking in from the north and west and some of them will survive in our Northern Counties and sparking some Severe Weather binghamton and just to the north of williamsport and scranton a watch box in effect. And most of these will fall apart and most will clip the areas around the poconos and 7 00 near allentown and you can see the line breaks apart as we get into the late evening hours at 10 30, and could be a surviving downpour or rumble of thunder or thunderstorm north of philadelphia and trenton into ocean county and moves away for the rest of the overnight hours. Future tracker 6 temperatures, 91 philadelphia at 10 00 mountain morning, same for millville and dover and 90 degrees first thing in the midmorning hours and 80s at the shore and afternoon hours tomorrow. Once again it feels like the upper 90s to near 100 and lower tomorrow due to a little bit of drier air trying to be mixed in from the upper atmosphere. Could be a good thing tomorrow. Still whether its 98, 99 or 100 or 101 and 87 at the shore and warm with an evening storm and city 95 degrees with late storms coming in on saturday and the poconos 81 and we watch for storms to pop there later on during the day. Tomorrow an accuweather alert day with the dangerous heat and humidity and 95 degrees, feeling like 100 and same temperature on saturday and the humidity is going come down on saturday and wont feel near 100 and evening storms coming in and heavy scattered storms and more active on sunday and the heat wave continues on monday of 90 degrees, but i promise a break coming in in the next half hour in the seven day. In fact temperature right now in allentown and trenton, sitting at 93 degrees and 95 in the city of philadelphia, and 93 wilmington and the Atlantic City airport coming in at 93 degrees and the air temperature is one piece to the puzzle and then factor in the dew points.
