A fight with a Security Guard may have led to a bar managers death in german town. He was shot to death late last night. Action news reporter, Katherine Scott has more on the investigation. The bar manager was hit twice in the torso and once in the leg. When police and medics arrived here last night he was conscious and talking and pronounced dead at the hospital at 11 22 p. M. The Security Guard was taken into custody. Police were called to sharons little spot. A uniformed Security Guard reported to officers that he shot a 44yearold bartender after an argument. It didnt make sense to me. Both men were working at the time of the shooting and in a back room for employees only at the bar at 5600 boyers street. An altercation escalated and turned physical, stemming from something that happened a week ago and the guard said the manager came at him with a bottle and he shot him three times. When Police Arrived on location. The 28yearold Security Guard remained on the scene. He was taken into custody by police and police also took possession of his weapon. The board says he failed to disclose five different sources of income on his statements of financial interest. The 62,000 penalty is the largest imposed by the board in its tenyear history. As we look at satellite and radar all of this is pushing in from the west and broken in nature and the more solid area of rain now passing through that would be again the steadiest rain to the south and west not much behind it. Reporter that is video shot by the Temple University news crew, you can hear the item in question was detonated by the Philadelphia Police bomb squad as a precaution, it started when a disposal crew was removing trash from the loading dock at 9 00 this morning. Authorities tell us it was some kind of military style canvas belt with orange and red wire as matched. Three students from the college of engineering was evacuated and the all clear was given when they confirmed it was harmless. Despite the outcome the disposal crew did the right thing by reporting what they saw.
