All right, it is time for a check of the accuweather forecast as we finally arrived at the weekend. Yes, a weekend, though, that will bring some more changes. Meteorologist cecily tynan is in for adam today. Hi, sharrie and brian. If youre hoping for a sunny quiet weekend weatherwise the not going happen. Weve got some major changes on the way. Double scan live showing first of all most of our region is rain free, sunny and warm. However, we are picking up some heavy downpours in parts of the Lehigh Valley and berks county. This one cell of reporting some gusty downpours has moved really across the northeast extension right now. Its heading to the northeast about 30 Miles Per Hour through the Lehigh Valley heading into Northampton County so chapman, nazareth, stocker town, all in the path. No lightning strikes with this but it does have some heavy downpours and we also have another cell in berks county. I showed this at the top of the newscast. This right now is getting close to hitting leesport crossing 322 also its moved between 422 and this is ahead of a cold front that will pass through tonight. The first of two and the second one will have a major punch. But ahead of it look at this, temperatures up near 80 degrees. Philadelphia 79, reading was 81 last hour, now down to 79 with some clouds. Wilmington 77. Trenton 77. Big change, though, cape may. You get those winds off the ocean of 20 degrees colder with a current temperature of 56 degrees and you may notice its a little bit on the humid side as well, kind of first time we felt this this season especially across parts of south jersey and delaware with dewpoints generally in the seventy six right now. So, satellite6 along with action radar showing we kind of have a sunshine sandwich kind of day. We woke up with the clouds with some showers, even some thunderstorms around 11 oclock with that first batch and then breaks of sunshine with that big warmup and heres that line ahead of a cold front that will pass through tonight. Again, a broken line of storms, not everyone will see them but those who do could have some heavy downpours. So, future tracker showing around 6 oclock, this is when the line gets very close to the i95 corridor. Temperatures still in the 70s and 60s. It moves off shore around 8 oclock but then what happens tomorrow away from low pressure develops a wave of low pressure develops along that front so that pulls the rain back in for the morning. Looks like a wet and gloomy start to the weekend. Temperatures in the 50s and 40s in the morning, then reaching the 60s by the afternoon with some breaks of sunshine but then a second cold front moves through late on saturday night, early sunday morning. This shows it pushing in around 1 oclock on sunday morning and what this will do is pull down some cold air and extremely high winds. So, the National Weather service has posted a high wind watch for our entire viewing area from midnight saturday through noon on sunday. Association the four day at 4 00 showing tomorrow a gloomy start to the weekend, 62 degrees but some showers, especially the first half of the day. Otherwise mostly cloudy. Sunday is when we get those wicked winds, the high only 47 but you factor in those winds. Wind chills will be in the 20s and 30s. And then on monday, we bump it up to 65 degrees. Dont get used to it. Another cold front brings us another round of rain and then temperatures back down into the mid 40s on tuesday with a high of 45 degrees and i know adam haas has been talking about the Half Marathon were bot
