Chopper 6hd was over the scene on the 300 block of tom brown road in moorestown. Officials say a county road crew was cutting grass in that area when the mower apparently struck a cap to the gas line. This happened about 11 30 this morning. Tom brown road is still closed between new albany road and haines mill road while the gas Company Makes repairs. Two residents were evacuated from a nearby home but just as a precaution. Its estimated that 6,000 on Street Parking places will be taken out of service because of the parking ban during the papal visit. Believe it or not were only six days away from a related together situation to start happening. So, what the Parking Authority has as far as advice to people who live near the parkway, live near the art museum, they need to take action. The Parking Authority thinks about 2,000 of those on street spaces are used by residents. Those who live inside the secure vehicle perimeter highlighted on this map and park on the street will need one of these placards to avoid having their car towed as early as this coming sunday. The important thing is by sunday the 20th everyone who is eligible for one of these placards will have their car on the street during that time must have a placard on their car or they will be towed. Reporter the placards are available now at the Parking Authority center city office. Reporter then comes thursday, the 24th and the second phase, all on Street Parking inside the secured vehicle perimeter must go. Thursday 10 00 p. M. Then the Parking Authority will waive that cost of 20 and the Parking Authority has extended their hours. Its been a mess so far this afternoon, brian and sharrie, due in large part to an accident that happened right here on the schuylkill expressway eastbound approaching gladwyne involved an overturned vehicle and you look at this shot now and you say, well, where is it . This doesnt look like a problem. It just cleared a couple minutes ago but can you see the tracks, a little bit of fluid on the eastbound lanes and you may also notice that the travel time is still 50 minutes to get east on the schuylkill from 202 on into that point. Its still a solid line with single digit speeds like just seven and 8 miles per hour. Still probably a stretch you want to avoid. Think alternates like the pennsylvania turnpike, think about using south gulph road, think about using ridge pike maybe even 23, the schuylkill at this point is still a mess with very slow travel times in both directions. And not to be outdone, 95 southbound has an issue as well. A disabled trash truck here in the southbound lanes between girard and the vine street expressway so southbound jammed solid coming down from the betsy ross bridge. A truck overturned in Bristol Township bucks county at the Delaware Valley interchange of the pennsylvania turnpike. Its blocking the ramp from route 13 northbound to the turnpike. Any unauthorized license there they issue will not have my name, my title or my authority on it. Instead, the license will state that they are issued pursuant to a federal court order. It was never our intention or wish to see her in jail. I just want its up to her. The judge has given her the conditions and she made her choice.
