Crime scene investigators spent the morning searching this home on the 1800 block of rose wood street searching for clues that might lead to a man who attacked and sexually assaulted a woman around 5 30. Reporter investigators say the victim a woke a man standing over her wedged he demanded money then Sexual Assaulted her. He fled in the victims 2007 silver toyota. A judge saturday found officer Michael Brelo not guilty of voluntary manslaughter in the november 2012 deaths of two unarmed black men. They were shot in a barrage of gunfire after a high speed chase. It was also very violent Holiday Weekend in baltimore where police say there were more than a dozen shootings leaving seven people dead. Officials dedicate add plaque and also laid a wreath at the final resting place of major Charles Mchugh went here at the christchurch burial ground. He headed a regiment in the union league. He was the only Founding Member of that league to lose his life in combat. The action cam was there as they honored war dead at the delaware Memorial Cemetery in bear delaware. These wreaths were laid to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice during war time. Small american flags were placed at the grave sites of service men and women who had been laid to rest at that ceremony. A lone bugler played taps. Boy scouts took part in a ceremony in ridly park. Now to another type of a scare in the air. A number of anonymous threats have been made against commercial airliners today. In one case fighter jets had to escort an air france plane to j. F. K. In new york city. Authorities say the escort was done out of the an abundance of caution. The fbi says the plane has since been checked and cleared. Law enforcement officials tell abc news theyre responding to a number of unconfirmed threats to several airplanes bound for different american airports. A man is facing charges after police found a Pressure Cooker in his car on the National Mall over the busy Holiday Weekend. Police found the device yesterday in the mans vehicle which was unattended at the time they became suspicious when they also smelled gas. Officers closed off the area and called in the bomb squad to destroy the Pressure Cooker. The owner of the car was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license license. Police in d. C. Have released for people who were detained along with the prime suspect in the killings of a wealthy family. Daron wint is the only person to be charged so far in the deaths of satisfy have a savopoulos, his wife, their 10yearold son and their housekeeper. The four were held captive inside their mansion before they were killed and the house was set on fire. Police say they believe wint had help from others. A colorado study found that the higher risks to babies living above 8,000 feet but the Research Shows sids rates in colorado in the mountains is very low but its still two times higher than in the denver area and other places where the altitude is below 6,000 feet. Police just pulled up to assist but that right lane is partially blocked. That means if youre coming out of ocean city, you want to use route nine, the ninth street bridge, route 52 to get over to the parkway instead of coming out through march morality back roads coming away from sea isle, avalon, stone harbor wildwood cape may very busy. 50 northbound crowded from nine up to 49, 83 westbound is busy from nine over to 47, nine northbound especially bunched up around avalon boulevard, 47 northbound bumper to bumper through dennis township. We have this ridge of High Pressure over the midatlantic region and points to the south but on the backside of that ridge we are picking up some showers and storms streaming northward from the southeast and up to the ohio valley and well tap into a piece of this energy as the week wears on. The call from accuweather for the rest of tonight mainly clear, comfortable dropping down to 65 in philadelphia and 61 in the suburbs with that southwesterly wind. We have a warm streak going on. Today so far in philadelphia, 87 degrees was the High Temperature. Nine of the last 10 memorial days have been well above average and no changing that this time around. Its 86 in philadelphia, 85 in trenton. In millville 80 degrees but much cooler with that south facing wind. You can see how its impacting our temperatures. Beach haven 69, same thing in Sea Isle City but off to the north and west up in the poconos 81, lancaster 82. So you look at the wind gusts and there are some out there. Were gusting anywhere from 18 Miles Per Hour in millville to as high as 26 Miles Per Hour for trenton beach haven and wilmington but with that constant southerly breeze, yes, it is warm but it doesnt feel too bad with the moisture and the breezy conditions overhead.
