In just the past hour action news has learned that three minors have been charged in that brutal mob beating of two new jersey teenagers. We first showed you the video from that attack at trentons greg grant park earlier this week. One of the victims had to get a dozen stitches. Police now say three people, two teenaged girls an 12yearold boy were arrested and charged last night. Officials say theyve identified several other people of interest and they do expect even more arrests. As we look at satellite, we can see the area continues to be draped in that thick cloud cover but in the far southern parts of Sussex County you see a little hole there with some sunshine that will try to clip southern parts of cape may in the next half an hour and as you take a look at the temperatures, we are only in the 50s. Were warmer than the last couple of days but still stuck in the 50s and theres that warm front down to the South Richmond and roanoke 76 to 81 degrees. This front was supposed to lift to the north. Didnt happen today. But you know what, at least were a little bit warmer than yesterday. So what to expect here through 9 oclock tonight. Just a few showers for most of us as the cold front still progresses through. Temperatures briefly go into the 60s before that front arrives. There could still be a stray thunderstorm. Atlantic city has started fining revel casinos new owners for safety violations after the power was shut off yesterday. City leaders just held a News Conference to announce the punishment. They fined revel 10,000 yesterday and theyll fine them 5,000 each day moving forward until power is restored. The city says the blackout possess a huge fire risk for such a massive complex. Conrail says its not responsible for damage created by Truck Drivers who choose to ignore the road closed signs. In hainesport Nora Muchanic channel6 action news. Traffic was a mess this morning on the ben franklin bridge after a tractortrailer overturned on the philadelphia side of the span. It happened around 5 00 a. M. Right near the base of the bridge. The tractortrailer landed on its side, caused huge delays for the morning rush. Fortunately no one was hurt here but it was several hours before crews could upright that tractortrailer and tow it away. Well, speaking of that time now for the action news traffic report. In fact theyve set up a temporary stop sign because those traffic lights are out. Slager has already been charged with murder and kicked off the force after fatally shooting walter scott in north charleston. Dash cam video released yesterday shows the traffic stop just before that shooting. Slager had pulled scott over because of a broken taillight but scott as you saw took off running. Slager ended up shooting him and killing him moments later. That incident was also caught on camera. Slagers own mom says she cannot bring herself to watch any of it. I just cant watch it. I cant read the papers. I just cant. Maybe to some people thats being in denial. Im sorry, i just cant. A funeral for walter scott will be held tomorrow. Jury deliberations in the Aaron Hernandez case will carry into next week as there is still no verdict. Today was the fourth day of deliberations in the murder trial of the former nfl star accused in the 2012 murder of oden lloyd who was dating his fiancees sister. This case has taken a few strange turns including one involving a boston tv station. A photographer was banned from the courthouse for the rest of the trial after he admited to following jurors to a parking lot wednesday night. The white house announced today that the president plans to meet this weekend with his cuban counterpart raul castro. The two leaders say they anticipate a private discussion tomorrow which is the final day of the summit of the americas in panama. Obama and castro did speak by phone on wednesday and once before back in december but this will be the first facetoface meeting between the leaders of the u. S. And cuba in more than 50 years. Its probably the worst kept secret in american politics but this weekend it becomes official. Hillary clinton is running for president. Clinton will launch her campaign this sunday. General electric is selling off most of the real estate and other assets of its ge capitol unit. The financial arm was once the largest part of ge. The company says it expected to get 26. 5 billion from various buyers including Blackstone Group and wells fargo. Ge says it will focus on industrial businesses moving forward like building airplanes. The company says those businesses will account for 90 percent of its earnings by 2018. There was a job fair at Delaware Technical Community College Stanton campus today. It was organized by senators tom carper and chris coons as well as congressman john kearny. Employers were looking for people to fill full and parttime jobs. This was the second in a series of three job fares. The final one will be may forth at the Rehoboth Beach convention center. Right now as you look at double scan live radar the clouds are out there, a couple showers in the Lehigh Valley but look just to the west of washington, we have a couple of downpours with a thunderstorm trying to develop. These moving due east. If they continue their journey they could clip southern parts of delaware a little later on this afternoon and this evening. As we look a little closer though to home on double scan live radar again a little batch of that light showers through the Lehigh Valley and as youre heading north on the northeast extension away from quakertown, and even pottstown getting clipped by a couple of sprinkles there but these will continue their journey to the north and east and really thats all were tracking at the at the present time. Temperatures, though, the winds, they were out of the eastnortheast yesterday and you can see the arrows now coming in more out of the southsouthwesterly direction, so thats why we moved from the 40s to the 50s and even dover 63 degrees right now allentown at 51 but if we had georgetown delaware on this map in Sussex County, it is 74 degrees there so it made it into southern delaware, the warmth with that warm front but it did not bust that cold air that really held its own today. Theres that one batch of showers coming through the Lehigh Valley right now. A couple of sprinkles just south and east of baltimore but the clouds really, the name of the game here this evening and future tracker by 7 oclock as the cold front is approaching and knocking on our door sterns it could doorstep it could touch off a couple light showers and any thunderstorm should be south of dover and wildwood and by 11 oclock tonight the clouds quickly race off to the east. The sky will clear out and winds will switch back out of the northwesterly direction. Overnight temperatures will be between about 45 in the Lehigh Valley to 50 degrees in cape may. Any early showers are a thundershower will pass through before 9 oclock and then were clearing after that. And tomorrow afternoon with sunshine, were going to be around 57 in allentown, 60 in philadelphia, 60 in millville and those winds out of the northwest will be rather breezy at speeds between about 15 to 25 miles an hour. So if youre heading down to ppl park for our union at 4 oclock, if youre not heading down there it will be right here on channel six. Sun just a few clouds with that northwesterly wind so youre going to still want to bring a light jacket because even though temperatures will be around 60, that wind will make it feel a whole lot cooler.
