A confusing chain of events and multiple gun shots this morning. An unidentified gunman looking for one man but shoots his neighbor. Why we dont know. Were looking into that. He was looking for one gentleman in particular. And as a result of not finding him, he ended up firing several rounds. Reporter the neighbor identified as william pew according to his motherinlaw pew drove himself to the hospital. She said he actually drove himself. Reporter is that right. She said cause theres blood over the drivers seat. Reporter the gunman fired at least one shot into 1355 newkirk wounding the threeyearold son of this man, known to neighbors as mo its believed mo may have been the intended target. He had no comment as he entered his nows this afternoon. Councilman Kenyatta Johnson says anyone with information about the gunman and the reasons for the shooting must get that information to investigators. This makes no sense as to how they seized him. This Holiday Season we shouldnt have a family going to the hospital with a threeyearold shot in the leg. Police respond to do james lawns residence here in the Country Club Apartment complex late last night after crisis counselors told them he planned to kill himself. When police entered the app they said long pointed what appeared to be a gun at him. They fired hitting and killing long. That gun was later determined to be a bb gun. Plea also say long booby trapped his apartment with noxious chemicals prompting them to briefly evacuate that building. Two people are facing charges for allegedly tying up a Senior Citizen and robbing her inside her West Whiteland township home. 36yearold Leonard Bernard and 41yearold Brianna Mitchell were captured overnight in delaware. Bernard allegedly posed as a Home Healthcare worker and knocked on the 76yearold victims door in the exton crossing development on saturday. Police say he then forced his way inside, bound the womans hands and stole her jewelry. Bernard and mitchell are both charged with robbery, aggravated assault and kid happening. They are awaiting extradition back to chester county. Police in philadelphia are questioning one person in connection to an Early Morning abduction in fern rock. Investigators tell action news four suspects kidnapped a man from a house on cranston road around 5 00 a. M. He was apparently beaten before being left on the 700 block of chew avenue a short time later. The victim was rushed to einstein hospital in stable condition. Police believe the abduction may have been drug related. Charges have not yet been filed. A woman accused of operating a Daycare Center without a license is staysy facing charges after her suv was towed away with two children inside. Police say Tonya Robinson left the girls ages five and one in the back of her car outside the penn indicator Plaza Shopping Center on friday. While robinson was inside shopping her car was repossessed by tow truck driver who didnt notice the kids until he got back to the tow yard. The girls were not hurt and were returned to their parents. Robinson is charged with child endangerment and delaware officials will order her to shut down her day care because she was unlicensed. One person was hurt when two school buses collided in West Philadelphia this morning. Chopper 6 was over the accident at 56th and chestnut just after 7 00. One of the buses went off the road and knocked out a traffic signal. Before it stopped on the sidewalk just feet away from a building. Medics took one person to the hospital. Round one is moving in right now. You can see the moisture collecting across areas in south jersey and delaware. Theres a little weak coastal low just off the coast of the carolinas. This moves in from the south to north direction as we get into the rest of tonight and into the first half of the day on tuesday. Then round two moves in as we get into wednesday on Christmas Eve. You can see this moisture starting to get its act together across areas in the four corners region. This taps into some moisture coming in the gulf of mexico and from a south to north direction. It continues for the first half of the morning on tuesday 7 oclock in the Morning Light rain and drizzle but at this point temperatures will be quite mild in the lower 50s. We get a break as we get into tuesday evening. Then we track another batch of moisture that moves in as we get into wednesday morning.
