Tam. Thank you, matt. A gunman opened fire on a man pumping gas at a gas station in chester delaware county. The victim took several shots to the chest. That man is now in the fight of his life after being shot multiple times in the chest while pumping gas. Police arrived to find the drivers side door still ajar and two gunshots in the front windshield there with the back window completely shattered. Police on scene say the barrage of gunshots began around midnight at the sunoco a plus at the intersection of edgemont avenue and east 22nd street in chester. The man who is in his 20s was rushed to a local hospital in very critical condition. Investigators spoke with witnesses at the scene and were checking to see if surveillance cameras captured the shootout. No word this morning on a suspect or a motive but the investigation into this shooting continues. Of course well let you know as soon as we get some additional information. The first on the 5800 block of cedar avenue in west philadelphia. Police say someone threw a device through the window of a home around 2 oclock in the morning. Its not clear if the device ignited. 30 minutes later and less than a mile away a car was torched on the 1000 block of south 56th street in southwest philadelphia. Police also say someone and tampered with the gas tank of a second vehicle. No injuries were reported in either incidentally. Police in both philadelphia and the haverford township are trying to zero in on the suspected murderer. Police consider 24yearold Derrick Rollins to be armed and extremely dangerous. Hes wanted for gunning down 29yearold john le in haverford township on saturday. Authorities say he opened fire in philadelphias Overbrook Park section hours before killing le. Police recovered rollins car in west philadelphia. Authorities say they are hot on his trail. The search is on this morning for the man who sexually assaulted a woman along a popular Montgomery County trail. Police say a 19yearold woman was assaulted at gunpoint at Norristown Farm Park while she was running around 11 oclock yesterday morning. The woman was able to call 911. The incident though has some calling for more police patrols. Its like Little Pockets where the corn covers everything so like nobody can really see you or anything could recently happen. Investigators believe the the suspect was wearing a black mask or hooded sweatshirt at the time. Anyone with information is asked to call police. Bogus money could end up in your hands.
