Developing this morning, Philadelphia Police are looking for a gunman who shot a 19yearold man. Investigators say the suspect first opened fire on the man as he came to the door a winkfield home and then the suspect lit the porch of that home on fire. Action News Reporter annie mccomic is live at that scene in the 5600 block of lebanon avenue trying to unravel all these details. Good morning, annie reporter good morning, tam. Police are Still Holding this scene here. Right now they tell us that that young victim was shot multiple times and one of the gun shots actually hit him just below the heart. Now, theyre still trying sort out all the details here. Take a look at this video. This all happened shortly after midnight. And the first call came in as a fire call, then a shooting. Now investigators are dealing with both an arson an shooting. Right now theyre still trying to figure out if a fire set on a claire in the front pomp was to lure the shooting victim out of the house or if it was meant to set the house on fire to cover up the shooting. Theyre also trying to figure out when that fire happened, if it was before or after the shooting. Now witnesses say the shooter and have ick tim know each other and the shooter came to confront the victim over an incident involving a family member. Upon police arrival, they found a 19yearold male. He was right inside the front door of a property on the living room floor suffering from three gun shot wounds to his chest and abdomen. Police picked him up, transported him to Presbyterian Hospital where hes presently in Critical Condition suffering from three gun shot wounds. Reporter and were told that that 19yearold victim is undergoing surgery right now at penn Presbyterian Hospital. There were other people in the home at the time but we are told that they were not injured. Now, the fire marshal was also out here on this scene. We are told that an accelerant was found in a glass bottle here at the scene but of course were still working all the information trying to sort out the details. Its very early in this investigation.
