do so. >> the body of a 17-year-old swept away by storm currents in a new jersey lake was finally located. the boy disappeared while swimming with friends a rowan lake, the teenager got caught in one of those pop-up storms. john rawlins live at the scene now with the very latest. >> reporter: hi guys well, when they suspended the search last night i think that everybody thought this would be a recovery and not a rescue effort. this is indeed what happened, not a recovery. they have not released the identity of the young man that disappeared in the water yesterday. >> the body of the missing swimmer was recovered this morning within the complex and an autopsy will be performed. yesterday four teens were celebrating the first day of summer by going for a swim but pop-up storms apparently triggered strong currents and one boy struggled to stay above the water and got separated from the rest. >> the current was heavy and it took him, and i reached out to try to grab him but we were like this -- and it was so strong it took him away from my hand and went down and going under and gasping for air and coming back i and going down. >> the initial reaction from folks is one of surprise that anyone would choose to swim in the area, this is the area known as watson creek, something of a marsh and has a muddy bottom and murky water and debris on the bottom and it's more likely to see people in the kayak or can you than to try to swim in this body of water. >> all right john thank you. on a lighter note turning to the forecast it's a hot and humid day but we won't have storms like and delaware and 84 in browns mills and 76 in margate. that would feel nice, on the beach a nice flow off the ocean. 79 in cape may a place to beat the heat and 87 in claymont. a mix of temperatures, 61 degrees and 74 and 73 you see further to the south, you have more moisture in the air and certainly more oppressive tomorrow and try to enjoy it today. we have an ozone action day, only for south flooding coastal communities with as much as 10 inches of rain leaving neighborhoods sub merged. and some evacuated at the last second. >> the water had risen so high it was fixin to get into our
