obama's visit is shining on this long troubled city. the president will shine a spotlight on camden as the city that is turning things around focusing on what the new camden county police department has done in just two years. driving murder and crime rates down while forging new relationship with the community. >> i think the cops is more into the people of camden. they sit and talk and chat with the people of the camden. >> reporter: the president will tour metro division's headquarters including its tactic california operations intelligence center where chief scott thompson will brief president on strategies used to cut crime in the city including more boots on the ground, cameras throughout the the town, and a system called shots fired. >> chief thompson has carried the message of our success of our policing method that got the attention of the white house and the president is coming as a result. >> reporter: president will meet with police officers, a concept the white house is encouraging nationwide as a way to cut tensions between police and the public. the president will meet with children and make remarks at ray and joan crock community center. >> there are great things happening in camden. the as you can see the crock center here, housing development, businesses, the educational system. >> a lot of assistance from all government officials and it starts from thanks, nora. amtrak's northeast corridor trains are rolling again a week after the deadly derailment in philadelphia mayor michael nutter was a at 30th street station this morning as passengers lined up for train 110 to new york. we were on that train as it slowly went through frankford junction the the site of the derailment. amtrak says service is in complete compliance with the federal safety order mandated after the derailment. we have talked to passengers before they departed. >> my family is more nervous then me but i to have get back to new york. there is risk in driving and flying. i deadly military aircraft accident in hawaii. hard landing was caught on video during a training exercise. one marine was kill, 21 others were injured. abc's tj hall has the full story. >> reporter: here's the aircraft just seconds before crashing, 22 american servicemen on board. you see it the kiss appeared behind a cloud of red dust as it hit the the land. and then... fire and black smoke. >> not visible anymore. when it cleared up we awe two came up and they continued to circle but there was just two that came backup. >> reporter: aircraft break ago part from the force of the the
