that are excited about the prospect and they have come great distances to see it. and we spoke to some of them. >> i feel like there is a lot of people that are really hopeful although i see so many different kinds of people that are pretty nervous, it seems like the tone here is pretty excited. >> he speaks his mind and doesn't try to hide things. you vote for someone and they say something and doesn't do it. trump speaks his mind and heart and there is no filter, people get offended by that, but hey this is the guy for the right time at the right moment. >> the whole meaning behind it and pageant behind it is who we are. it's good in the end. there is a lot of garbage going on in both directions but in the end this is the beginning and we need to look at it as a new beginning and moving forward. >> which is a beautiful and optimistic feeling. many here feel that way. they hope donald trump will express the same optimism tomorrow at noon. >> and dozens of congress members president-elect's agenda today in center city and pledged resistance to trump's nominee for secretary of education, betsy devos. and opposition in several other cities as well. organizers are on 6abc.com and the 6 abc news app. turning to other news, "action news" has learned that some students at some local schools got physicals last year from a fake doctor. tonight there are more questions and there answers, investigative reporter, chad pradelli is live with the story. >> reporter: we are still trying to get answers but sources tell me that last year a bogus doctor went into a philadelphia school district facility and performed physicals on students. this is the physical form from george washington high school. the student was examined at the high school in june. it was a dr. bay, dr. bay signed the form and provided her number and license at the bottom. but dr. bay is not a licensed medical doctor, the address she gave is this west philadelphia row home and a check of the medical license number she provided on the form doesn't exist with the state. >> very angry but very scared. >> this mother that doesn't want to be identified says she found out about the bogus doctor after the teenager learned about problems with bay's physicals at the school and reached out to george washington athletic director tim geyser. >> theage let ecdirector at the school says the forms were going downtown. that the district was investigating. >> that was in december, a few weeks later the parent received an email from geyser saying that free physicals will be provided at district headquarters by all students evaluated by bay. the philadelphia school district released a statement, reading in part. the school district of philadelphia works closely with the athlete organization to make sure thousands of students get proper physicals but the district would not say how bay was authorized to perform physicals and how many students or schools were affected. when we pressed for more answers, a spokesperson says that protocols are in place to make sure this doesn't happen again. >> the parent with whom i spoke wants the case referred to authorities and the school district would not say if that did happen. efforts to reach bay have been unsuccessful. chad pradelli, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. lets go back to the nation's capitol where donald trump is about to address the crowd in front of the lincoln memorial. >> thank you everybody and thank you tom. i would like to congratulate our incredible entertainers tonight and toby and lee green wood and journey began 18 months ago, i had something to do with it but you had much more to do with it than i did. i'm the messenger. just the messenger. we were tired and -- i love you -- believe me i love you. we all got tired seeing what was happening and we wanted change but we wanted real change. and i look so forward to tomorrow we are going see something that is going to be so amazing, so many people have poured into washington, d.c., this started out tonight being a small little concert and then we had the idea maybe we'll do it in front of the lincoln memorial. i don't know if it has ever been done before, but if it has very seldom and the people came by the thousands and thousands and here we are tonight all the way back. all the way back -- so it's a movement that began -- a movement that started -- and a movement like we have never seen any where in the world they say, there has never been a movement like this. and it's something very very special. and we are going to unify our country. and our phrase, you all know it, half of you are wearing the hat. make america great again.
