Tonight mike pence makes his first highprofile public appearance since being named Donald Trumps running mate and he has two major tasks tonight to help unify the party and energize this hall. Young scholars from the university of pennsylvania and the university of Southern California are spending the week here attending the sessions and even members of the media. They are being led by David Eisenhower and former representative margie s. They share relationships with politicians that took a lot of heat. Its not the case with the high slipping to the south, we get on the western part of the high with a bermuda heat pump with the southwesterly wind, its clear and comfortable, with a gentle breeze to the north and west and mid60s for the majority of the region and the jersey shore, the heat like you saw with the heat advisories are in the nations heartland with the jet stream to the north and the jet stream is pivoting over our region and lifts to the north here later on in the week. We are talking about dangerous heat friday through monday, the hottest temperatures we have seen in four years you have to go back to 2012 for the last time for philadelphia to hit 99 degrees or better and when you factor in the humidity especially here sunday and monday, the heat index hitting 100 and 105 degrees. Record temperatures are in jeopardy for sunday and monday. And this will create a cumulative affect on the body because its multiple days of that extreme humidity and in fact, heat is the number one weather related killer in the country, so definitely something you want to take seriously as we go over the next several days.
