Police say the 27yearold mother left her young daughter at the center city mace macys store after being caught trying to shoplift 1,400 worth of merchandise. The incident happened on february 11th. An Assembly Committee approved the legislation today more than a month after governor Chris Christie declined to act on a similar bill. The bill would finery tailers up a thousand dollars if they sell cigarettes to anybody 20 years old or younger. It would not punish under aged smokers. If the bill passes, new jersey would become the second state behind hawaii to raise the smoking age to 21. More jobs, new lodging could be coming to wilmington riverfront.
