All out of control. Seen like hundreds of kids going down the street screaming yelling carrying on. Behind them was a police car just following them. Reporter police shut down the streets but it took hours to clear the neighborhood. At one point they say abdul confronted the officers who were at his home telling them the teens were allowed to drink and smoke marijuana in his house. Youre not allowed in here, this is my house, ill do whatever i want to do. No you wont. Well not let you committee a crime. Reporter abdul was arrested at the house last night. Michelle was arrested here at the Police Station this morning when she arrived to post his bail. Both were able to post 10 percent cash of their 2,500 bail. At least five bald eagles have dead, three others are being treater tonight after they got sick in delaware. Now, Officials Say the group of eagles was found acting erratically and disoriented over the weekend in sussex county. Some were unable to fly, others appeared to be stumbling. Hundreds of Pennsylvania State employees were forced to stay home from work today all because of a broken water minute the break flooded three floors of offices at eighth and market last week. That building houses several state agencies as well as the Philadelphia Inquirer and daily news. Action News Reporter vernon odom has more on cleanup efforts. Reporter on friday a water main broke heavily flooding the sixth fifth and fourth floors leased by Pennsylvania State agencies including dhs, the puc, state Police Employment training, Economic Development and equal opportunity. Last night managers of some 200 state workers in this building were notified to inform their staffs of the Office Closure but many told me they did not get that message and showed up for work this morning only to be turned away. The remediation process includes deploying these powerful fans. State officials are setting up alternative work options in locations for employees and dhs clients to ensure that the operations involving the employees at this site will continue without further interruption. All Online Services continue uninterrupted. Sometime this evening the agencies respect scheduled to release the alternative locations. But a spokesman for the landlord tells me the cleanup process went on all weekend and the state agencies may be able to move back in virtually right away. The buildings safe. This building just drying out. We have hygienists and other experts in there to make sure that it stays say. The state agencies have occupied this building since 2009. The flooding did not affect the third floor operations of the newspapers. The realtor is claiming they can have the floors dry with new carpets down by sometime tomorrow. In the meantime the state is making other contingency plans to get their employees back to work as soon as possible. In center city, im vernon odom, channel6 action news. From our delaware news room tonight police have identified the man who died after falling from a roof in newark. Police say 20yearol 20yearom golden died. He slipped and pal fell. The incident occurred at a residence where university of delaware Fraternity Members are living. But golden was not a udel student. An investigation is under way tonight after an off duty new Jersey Police officer was found shot to death in his car. The Police Officer was discovered this morning in Sayreville Middlesex county in the parking lot of a closed movie theater. A spokesman said theyre still awaiting autopsy results and the circumstances leading to his death have yet to be determined. Health Officials Say a pennsylvania dairy that supplies raw milk has been linked to two listeria cases. The milk came from millers organic farm. One person each in florida and california became infected from the farms raw milk back in 2014. The florida victim died. Officials say millers organic farm isnt licensed by or inspectord by the state. The farms owner says the company is still selling raw milk and hasnt gotten any complaints. A former Philadelphia City leader will head to trial accused of stealing 200,000 from the regions tourism bureau. Joyce levitt waved her preliminary hearing today. The former cfo of visit philadelphia is accused of spending that money on dinners skin care and high end clothes. Shes facing felony charges of fraud theft and forgery. A touch of snow that philadelphia, just a trace but some locations across portions of new jersey picked up a little more than 2inches of snowfall. You can see there on satellite6 along with action radar, the Early Morning snow already starting to depart and we did have plenty of sunshine for the bulk of our day but we are starting to watch some instability clouds that are moving on through as we go throughout the rest of the evening hours. A survey of 4,000 adults found that the number of people using medications which should not be taken together has doubled from eight to 15 percent. Researchers cite two prime reasons. More and more diseases are being treated with pills and americans are taking more overthecounter drugs and supplements. Survey leaders say you should tell your doctor about everything you take not just prescription medication. The fda could soon give the final okay for a new treatment for opiate addiction. It is a long acting version of a widely used addiction drug theyre implantable. Theres no need to be constantly taking something every day. The doctor says it is implanted under the arm like a popular Birth Control device aimed at patients who do not need frequent dose adjustments and is less likely to be abused or misused. The amount of medication that they contain is actually far less than what a person would have if they were taking the equivalent in pill form every day. The same implant technology could be used for drugs or other conditions. Federal officials approved a new drug for patients exposed to the deadly anthrax toxin anthem its given by injection. The drug is for inhalation anthrax when a person inhaling the bacterial spores. Five people died in 2001 after they were exposed to anthrax that was sent in letters. Because anthrax is a potential bio terrorism weapon the government has been funding the development of these new treatments.
