delaware river, everyone kind of in that fog this morning and through much of the day as that cold dense air really held on. in fact, we call it cold air damning for the last three days cold air is a lot heavier than warm air so it kind of wedges itself across the mountains when you get that northeasterly wind across the appalachians and it takes a very strong warm front to blast through that cold off of the radar here and it's because it's bumping into that very stable air where the clouds and the chill have been in place today. so for tonight there could be a stray early shower or thundershower especially south of philadelphia and southern parts of delaware and maybe cape may county in new jersey. otherwise, we're clearing quickly overnight, 45 to 48 for the lows and then behind this front, there is a massive high pressure that's coming in and it is going to basically bring sunshine for everyone in the lower 48 with the exception towards florida where the front will lag but for us, 62 degrees. it will be very windy out of the northwest, 12 to 25 miles an hour tomorrow but with that sun it's going to feel pretty nice with normal temperatures and then we bounce above normal the second half of the weekend as the high pretty much settles right overhead. that means less wind, baby blue sky and temperatures at 68 degrees. so a winning forecast here from start to
