Engineers with Frontier Airlines have been working all day to remove a plane that got stuck in the mud at New Castle County airport. The front wheels got stuck last night as the plane was moving on the taxi way. Flight 1435 was heading to orlando. No one was hurt in the incident. All 105 passengers and five crew members were taken off the plane and spent the night in a hotel. They took off on another flight this afternoon. Barn went up in flames today here in Burlington County. Chopper 6 hd captured the scene in mansfield township late this morning. This is at bishop farm on Mount Pleasant road. No injuries were reported. The cause is not yet known and its not clear what was in the barn that caught fire. Thieves broke into several vehicles in philadelphia overnight and stole the air bags a. Investigators say all the vehicles targeted are hondas and this type of theft is an ongoing problem in the city. The thieves were out working three blocks of hartel street here last night in rhawnhurst. The cars are gone now but the glass down here on the street still tells the story. Five cars in all were hit and it might have been a lot worse if the thieves hadnt been scared off. Cops were here within 30 seconds to a minute. Reporter the air bag thieves have been targeting this area of northeast. Fortunately for many on this street jean key hoe was awake. Im in bed and i hear a thump. And i said it sounds out my door. Thats when i looked out and saw a flashlight on the drivers side of my car and a gray hood deal. I could only see his head, like a hoodie. Reporter she woke her husband. Said joe somebody is trying to steal our car. Thats when i ran down the steps, got the key fob and hit the panic button. Reporter more than one had been working simultaneously because they left behind air bags in some cars after breaking in. My neighbors window was broken and my sons who were further up their cars so maybe when my husband hit that alarm button it scared them away. Reporter since the first of the year air bag thieves have hit more than 30 cars in the northeast. They pop three screws and theyre off with the air bag in less than 30 seconds. They sell them to crooked repair shops for 50 to 200. The shops then collect more than a thousand dollars from Insurance Companies for installing them as replacements. Victims like the kehoes end up paying the deductibles on their policies in their case 500 and theres lost time. They didnt get joe jr. s air bag before they were scared off but hes got to replace a broken window, not easy for a College Student. Why arent in you class today . Reporter Police Believe they are dealing with a ring of thieves, some of whom have been locked up before. Police investigated a threat made against the south jersey school. Officers went through the joseph c maynard school. Someone mentioned violence against the school. Allentown currently its 39 degrees and the poconos 27, trenton 40, philadelphia that 43 reading 41, wilmington 42. And millville 43 degrees. And we do have just enough breeze to create a bit of a wind chill factor. The wind chill makes it feel like 35 in philadelphia, feels like 32 in wildwood, feels like 34 in reading and 31 degrees in allentown. The patient currently being treated at the National Institutes of health in maryland remains in critical condition. The Affordable Care act is helping identify more people with type two diabetes. 23 percent more people have been diagnosed since medicaid was expanded under the act. Its been estimated a third of adults who have type two diabetes dont know it because they dont get regular healthcare. But early diagnosis helps to prevent complications including heart attacks and strokes. Also today, it doesnt feel like spring but spring weather is coming and so is allergy season. Phase one of the project workers will tear up and replace the 9600 long northsouth runway here. Its expected to take about 18 months.
