It doesnt look like we have to worry about that today. 55 degrees in philadelphia right now. And with light winds thats not a bad temperature for early november. 50 degrees in wilmington. Still 45 in allentown. 53 in trenton and mid50s down the shore. Winds are out of the southwest but as i mentioned they are pretty light, just 10 Miles Per Hour in philadelphia and weve got a couple of spots showing zeros. That means calm winds. As we head out the door to catch the school bus over the next couple of hours the kids probably need a sweatshirt, probably dont need the hood up. 56 by 8 oclock, partly cloudy and cool. You see it right there but traffic not moving too badly just yet. On i95, looking live here at the betsy ross bridge, this is your southbound traffic. You could see heading right towards center city. Again, maybe a little building volume coming in from langhorne or bensalem but no big delay yet. The burlington bristol bridge is reopened. It was opened for a bridge opening. We now have a better picture of a person of inter. It was captured around 6 oclock monday morning inside a Convenience Store in aberdeen maryland around the time police say this man used freelandgaithers debit card at a nearby pnc bank. Fbi agents were on the ground yesterday searching for this video and other evidence. Were also now seeing the first moments when freelandgaither came into contact with her abductor on sunday night. He reached his hand out to her. You see her black away. The man lunges at her and forces her down west coweller street against her will. He was very brutal how he took her down the street. Reporter freelandgaithers family says they moved from maryland several years ago and she left behind an obsessed boyfriend. Police need more but confirm they have leads and persons of interest including this man. He just was aggressive. He didnt show any other signs of anything else. He was just aggressive. I just told her to stay away from him. Reporter the 22yearold nursing assistant works at presbyterian hospital. Her family just wants her home. She was always there for anybody and everybody. Reporter matt you wonder if theres going to be a flux of democrats across the country buying one of these jeeps that tom wolf has and of course pennsylvania Gubernatorial Race is one of the few big victories for democrats last night. Tom wolf won by a comfortable margin winning almost 55 percent of the votes and tom corbett made history but probably not in the way he had hoped. Corbett has become the first governor to lose reelection in the states modern history. Wolf, a businessman and first time candidate, spent 10 million of his own money on an early Tv Ad Campaign that endeared him to voters. Last night he drove to his victory rally as you saw in his hometown of york in his trademark jeep. He told supporter that is Public Education will be his top on his agenda. Our ancestors realized that education was the key to a strong citizenship, to a strong democracy, to a strong economy, to Strong Families and we needed to invest in that. We need to make sure that we resurrect that idea here in pennsylvania and make sure that education is at the top of the list, not the bottom. As we take a look outside, theres your numbers, we have the platt bridge in south philadelphia and everything is looking good out there on the platt and weve got, you know, temperatures in the 50s right now which arent bad and winds are also light so thats also a good aspect to the forecast today. As you step outside you dont have to go overboard with any extra gear. Taking a look at Storm Tracker 6 live double scan, you can see that we do have no precipitation out there across its region so thats g couple of highlights to your forecast. It is going to be mild and dry today, even though clouds are going to increase. Construction blocks the right lane on the northeast extension northbound near quakertown. And a quick look at the big picture right now in Port Richmond weve got an accident coming in to us, its new so like for it on richmond street and allegheny avenue. Also olde city the ramp from Market Street to i95 southbound weve got a problem there. Its going to close from 9 00 until 3 00 today. Use the ramp for columbus boulevard instead. The fire marshal says the family was able to get out safely because of working smoke detectors in the home. The fire left the home badly damaged but no one was hurt.
