>> that's right, jim. the driver was taken into custody and taken to hospital. police say it was a miracle no one was seriously injured. >> i grabbed the wheel. he was trying to fight. >> brandon tompson is one of the good samaritans that helped with this man's joyride. >> i just knew he needed to be stopped. >> the driver crashed just after 3:00 p.m. he carjacked michael emmanuel who was dropping off a customer. >> he opened the door and grabbed the lady from her hair and collar and dragged her to the street. >> jumping to help the woman, emmanuel says he left the car unattended. >> he took off his clothes, got in and drove off. >> the driver weaved through rittenhouse square. pedestrians had to dart for cover. >> i saw my life flashing before my eyes. >> witnesses say the man was talking to himself before the rarampage. >> other also say h he may have mental health issues. >> fortunately, there were no injuries. among other charges, this man could face car theft and assault. christie ileto, channel6 "action news." jim? it means the thursday morning commute could be messy with rain and know likely. the best bet of snow would be northwest. allentown has three inches of snow this season. you could get a few inches thursday morning. with the roads warm, they'll likely turn slushy. looks like a melt factor going on through thursday morning. we'll keep you posted. the accuweather seven-day forecast, tomorrow, 60. rain at times in the 40s across reading and the lehigh valley. wednesday, 63-degrees, tieing a record high. thursday morning, snow and rain moving out quickly, sunshine by the afternoon, 37. friday, cold air is here, 35-degrees. then we moderate over the weekend. saturday, cloudy, 49-degrees. sunday, 52 with showers and monday, 48-degrees. that's the next seven days. here's my out look for the rest of the month. >> so far this winter has been anything but has harsh with mild temperatures and below normal snow fall philadelphia north and west. thanks to one january storm, snow fall along the cois is normal. it's the opposite of the west, round after round of storms putting a major dent in california's drought. the jet stream dipping in the western u.s. bringing cold air and heavy mountain snow and turning northward and cross the east. a strong ridge pumped up mild air, january temperatures five degrees above normal. snow lovers, all hope is not lost. february is our snowiest month of the year with 8.8 inches of snow in philadelphia, 11.1 in the lehigh valley and down the shore, 6.7. remember a lot of valentine's day or president's day storms? there is truth to that. we have seen three of our top ten snowstorms between february 11th and 17th. the most recent in 2003. looking at the set up for february, a classic split flow pattern with moisture in the jet stream with blasts of cold air from the northern branch. this creates a zone of active weather from the gulf coast to the eastern sea born with severe storstorms in the south dpindinn the storms. fluctuating temperatures, no prolonged bitter cold and the month over all one to two degrees above normal. as far as snow fall, we'll likely see a few smaller scale events, but there is the potential to fuel a big storm. how much and how deep is the cold air here when the storm develops? [ laughter ] this is true, the lieutenant governor said it is important that history does not record that this jersey was stole anyone texas. it is? okay. it's not exactly the kennedy assassination. so now they're out looking for it. let's try to figure this out. mark wahlberg left early, so he didn't steal it. maybe it was the equipment manager brady blamed for deflating those footballs. i hope it was him because he deserves that $500,000 or whatever the hell they're going to get for it. this might have been my favorite part of the broadcast. after the game, a former new england patriot, the great willie mcginest, paraded the lombardi trophy around, and added some very colorful commentary. it reminded us the super bowl is still a live television event. >> [ bleep ]! [ laughter ] there was plenty of crazy on this show. one of the women, jasmine, was very upset she didn't get a one-on-one date, kept complaining about it. i'm not a relationship expert. quite the opposite, you might say. but maybe if you want to spend time alone with a guy, don't do this. >> i want to punch him in the face! i like him so much but i want to choke him right now. i just want to put your ass down and be like, oh! it makes me upset. i want to choke you so bad. >> okay. >> kind of choky. >> what's the name for it? >> choky. do you want me to show you? >> no not even a little. >> no girls ever did that to you? >> no. >> okay, great, i'll be the first. you want to do it right now? >> no. [ laughter ] then he sent jasmine home. and tonight's two on one date was with whitney and danielle l. he sent both of them home too, which as shame because i picked danielle l. to make my final four already what i didn't know then was how much she likes to say the word like. >> like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like. i don't know like what his concerns could be and like why this wouldn't work out. >> jimmy: that's more likes than like instagram. that's a lot of -- nick's sent a lot of women home. at the end of the episode he threatened to eliminate himself. nick got very emotional on this show. he told the women he's not sure he can keep doing when. i bet he can. [ laughter ] i have a feeling. i just have a feeling that he can and will. but if you think about it, "the bachelor," it's kind of a bum letter are you you start off with 30 beautiful women fawning all over you, then keep sending them home until you're stuck with just one of them. it's counter intuitive, it should go other way, you know what i'm saying? [ cheers and applause ] if it's a game show it would be -- anyway. we're down to six. including the major villain this season, corinne, who for whatever reason is still around. everyone hates corinne, she's a 24-year-old rich girl with a nanny. but tonight we witnessed the emergence of a new villain, a particularly crafty contestant who flew under the radar for a while. now she has all the other women united against her. >> theefl he'll send this monster home. >> i hope nick will send her home tonight. >> it's not for me to judge what those women believe. i've not talked to them, i've talked to him. >> a physical connection is all she is. >> i don't like her. >> nobody likes her. >> that's good, i like being the underdog. >> she's super aggressive and she has no remorse. >> she's just a big, mean swamp monster. >> no, that's just flat-out false. >> she's very calculated and analytical. >> she's totally comfortable with just lying straight to his face. >> the alternative facts. >> you were flat-out lied to today. >> alternative facts. >> make america great again. >> make america clean again.
