this morning we had construction crews off of i-95 and sheridan street. at this point all the crews e out of there. i guess they got done with their work early. lanes were shut down on i-95 in miami-dade county. we do have one crash we're watching for you, this one in broward county. this is off the turnpike northbound at hollywood boulevard. there were reportsf about two lanes blocked. with these speeds at 64 miles r hour, i'm not seeing it affect traffic at all, which is great. accident-free, but as soon as any accidents pop up, i'm updating twitter. make sure you follow us on volunteerth that information for us. tweeted out this saying world record billion power ball draw produced a winner. they say the florida jackpot winner will be sharing the prize with the winners in california and in tennessee. shortly after the drawing the california lottery tweeted this out saying the winning ticket was sold in chino hills, a suburb of los angeles. they also said 12 other tickets in california matched five out of the six numbers. it was at this 7-11 right here. you can see crowds of people celebrating around it after the word got out. we don't know who bought the winning ticket and if it's more than one person. one thing we know for sure, the 7-11 gets a $1 million bonus for selling that ticket. >> i'm very, very happy and i'm so thankful to my chino hill overnight, five attackers have been killed after an attack in jakarta. at least three explosions rocking the city downtown this morning. officials do believe this is a terror attack. a witness says one of those explosions happened close to a starbucks near a police post. one customer was injured and treated at the scene. starbucks saying all of their stores in the city will remain closed as a precaution. one of those explosions here caught on camera. the big plume of white smoke leaving the builng. group has taken responsibility. police say they have recovered the bodies of the attackers. it's not clear yet if any attackers remain on the run this morning. it appears to be coordinated toikdz with multiple locations hit at the same time. a dutchman seriously wounded in the attack is havingngurgery right now. as the details come in, we'll bring them to you on local 10. this man was allegedly arrested for creating a deadly attack with uber two days after christmas. they blame the driver but police say the man behind bars is responsible for the crash. 21-year-old alexander chico was booked into jail and should be facing a judge this morning. his charges incrude driving under the influence and vehicular homicide. officers say he caused the crash on 144th street. they say chico was speeding when he me a left-hand turn. that s.u.v. was driven four people inside. 20-year-old pablo sanchez, jr. died at the scene while the other other passengers were taken to the hospital. a couple caught on camera threatening to light a denny's cashier on fire. the cashier says they sped like gasoline, showed her a bottle filled with gas and a lighter and they demanded cash threatening to set her on fire if she didn't cooperate. this is the same couple spotted stealing items in dania beach. if you know who these people are, police hope businesses cleaning up after a car rammed right into it. this happened on northeast 13th street and seventh avenue last night. the witness told us he mistook his gas pedal for the brake. president barack obama state of the union address, secretary of state john kerry has announced the u.s. will increase the number of the u.s. leaving violence in central america, specifically in el salvador, guatemala and honduras. more than 6,000 applications for minors were received in central america. 180 cuban migrants arrived in mexico yesterday. the cubans were flown to el salvador late on tuesday as part of a regional agreement to overcome nicaragua's refusal to let them in by land. transportation visas had already been arranged by bus from el salvador to new mexico. cubans make their way to mexico and the u.s. tune in today starting at 4:00 as hatzel vela will be reporting live from the u.s.-mexico border. as those migrants work their way will continue to be our dominant weather feature and that rain will slowly slide into parts of south florida west to east. we'll see the showers first and then we'll head towards the coast. widening the view we have another system moving into the rockies bringing them some low and some lake-effect snow or the northeast. it will be dreary. it will be rainy and we will see these showers stick around through the evening hours. by the evening hours into tomorrow morning, that's when we're going to see the worst of the weather. could see some strong storms at times even tonight so many of you may not be sleeping because you could be hearing rumbles of thunder. this front should clear up by friday afternoon. once it does so high pressure's going to build behind it providing for a beautiful start to the weekend and rain returns as another front moves in. the first tropical storm of the seasonal essex, it formed yesterday located over the eastern atatntic. the system is racing to the north normal east at 18 miles per hour. a tropical storm is a warm core and then has gone down in history. we are going to watch it as it could become a hurricane by this afternoon and tonight but again the threat is for the azores. the last t me we've seen this happen was back in 1978, january 18th. so it's very unusual for us to see something like this develop in the atlantic but it has accident-free but ongoing construction on the palmetto expressway. something starting tonight that will continue through the weekend. with have southbound closures on the palmetto expressway at 25th street. these closures are overnight beginning at 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. you'll have to travel west to 87th avenue where you can travel northbound or southbound. from there you can take the dolphin expressway back over west-bound and then continue on the 826 investigators say a school bus driver was at fault for this truck in hillsboro county. at least 32 elementary school students were on board when that bus crashed into an s.u.v. yesterday. two students on the bus, both people inside the s.u.v., were taken to the hospital. no serious injuries were reported. now to a developing outlets are reporting an arrest has been made in the case o an american woman in italy. artist ashrey olson was living in florence when she was found strangled to death in her apartment. chipolte working hard to people and hurt dozens more. officials are calling it a terror attack after at least three explosions went off. they say those terror attacks actual copy what happened in paris. the explosion happened right close to a starbucks restaurant near a police post. the company says one treated on the scene. starbucks is also saying all their stores in the city will remain closed out of precaution. one of the explosions caught on camera right here. you can see the big plume of smoke leaving the building. right now no terror group has yet taken responsibility for this. police say they recovered the bodies of the attackers and it's not clear if any remain on the run this morning. and the netherlands foreign minister says a dutch man was been seriously wounded in the attack and is currently having surgery. we'll bring you all the updates. police took this man, 21-year-old alexander chica into custody for allegedly causina deadly car crash involving an uber ride. this comes after t victim's family follow aid lawsuit against the ride-sharing service blaming the uber driver for the cash. sanela sabovic live this police arrested this guy. >>reporter: good morning, eric. miami-dade police arrested 21-year-old alexander chica late last night. he sits in jail behind me. police say he was the one who claimed into an uber driver while drunk causing a fatality. a few days ago it was that man's family that placed blame on the uber driver saying he was the negligent one. a turn of events for a south florida family and an uber driver. police releasing new information on a violent crash that killed pablo sanchez, jr. just two days after christmas. investigators concluded sanchez was killed after a drunk driver slammed into a car he was in. that driver has now been identified as 21-year-old alexander chica. just days ago the sanchez family pointed a finger at uber and the negligent and drove into oncoming traffic. >> this driver was observed to either be nod off, dropping his head. i don't know whether he was falling asleep or looking down to engage in some sort of texting. >>reporter: the violent texting took place at 157th avenue. adam was driving sanchez along with his three friends home after a night out. police say adams' g gmc gmc yukon was attempting to take a left when a toyota corolla driven by chica slammed into him at a high rate of both. both vehicles caught fire. sanchez died on the scene while his three friends were taken to kendall regional trauma center. while nothing will bring back their loved one, this new information can now shed some light on what really happened that faithful night. >> it's the face of a >>reporter: so far no word yet from the family's attorneys. as far as chica is concerned, he's expected to face a judge in bond west. he was involved in some so of scuffle outside a key west bar. details were limited but police were called and carter was takennto custody. he's being charged with battery. now to a scare bringing out the haz-mat team, bomb squad and even the fbi. this all happened on wednesday. two large envelopes in hand. investigators say they were addressed to the fbi and after some issues trying to mail them, the man dropped the envelopes and left the post office. >> his behavior was suspicious of the postal employees and so living something, say something, the postal employees decided to call. >> that call led to an evacuation and the fbi nt out in search of the man. now officia want to know who that man is. two middle schoolers, one of them an honor roll student waiting to learn their faith after allegedly bringing a loaded gun on to a school compass. the incident happening tuesday at apollo middle school in hollywood. police say when another student spotted it, the boys panicked and tried to hide it. that scare causing apollo middle and the elementary to be put on lockdown. belgium authorities have identified two apartments and house used in the attacks. investigators found materials to build explosives as well as traces of an explosive used in the attacks. dna evidence and suspects were also found. and we do have new surrounding a houston man facing terrorism related charges. homeland security is saying he allegedly planned to attack two houston area malls. the government began investigating his alleged terrorism charges back in 2015. turning now to vote 2015, donald trump speaking to 10,000 supporters in a rally. took some jabs at his other candidates but he also took some at president obama's state of the union address: the two here seen together in a cruz campaign video in which robinson explains his endorsement for the candidate. cruz said he is thrilled to have robinson's support. the endorsement could give cruz an even bigger news
