Because lakewood was hit hard by storms thursday it took the Power Company a couple of days to get the power back on. It is hot. And i dont want it to be cold. Reporter as you can imagine it made for a rough couple of days for residents. Especially here on woodward, that has been in the dark for several day, until last night. You have to live with it. Thats all. Reporter home of the generator could be heard for a couple of days thanks to james lynch. He and neighbors had electricity. Well, now everyone does. But many are thinking what a relief it was to have that generator. Neighbor has a generator and we hooked up our frig. Able to keep the food. And just been surviving like that. There is an f16. So you can see a lot of fun going on. A lot of flying. Nice thing about these shows, is that it is smaller, and you get more up close and personal with performers. And the kids. And even the adults, really helps them to engage better with the purpose of why we are there with educating aviation. See, the kid angle on this is really important. And it is magical. Really is. You get to see aircraft that you have only seen on, maybe, world war ii film, that sort of thing. There is something special. Funny thing is when you see the aircraft on old world war ii films those are radio controlled, some of them are. Some full scale. But it is cool.
