>> no. no, i will not go home. >> reporter: at one point a man brandishing a gun demanding the protesters move away. >> i live don't come at me. i didn't vote for trump. why are you coming at me? >> there were reports of attacks on drivers. cell phone video shows a woman throwing detergent on protesters after she left her car. what started out as a peaceful protest descended into chaos. >> we are here for love, we are not here to spread hate. >> reporter: it is expected more protests could come tonight. >> brian: a third day of deliberations in the murder trial of a former university of cincinnati police officer. for veterans day, the hamilton county courtroom is open as jurors continue deliberations. ray tinsing is accused of shooting and killing sam debose during a traffic stop last year. >> tia: akron police are investigating a suspected murder suicide. a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were found shot to death in the parklane manor apartments just after midnight. a relative found them after the man didn't show up for work. >> brian: a summit county woman from a disabled woman. that's wanda starcher. she is accused of stealing the woman's social security checks to the tune of more than five grand. starcher also charged with violating community control for previous run-ins with the law. >> tia: this toddler visited some of the first responders who saved his life. the wellington two-year-old and his cousin fell into the pool at a home day care last month. no charges have been filed. >> brian: if you spent any time outside this morning, you notice it was very windy. people were bundled up to stay warm against the whipping winds. waveswere crashing along the shoreline of lake erie. it is clear despite the beautiful fall that we have had that it will all soon change. the powerful winds had flags flapping in the breeze as we celebrate our service members on veterans' day. meteorologist sam roberts tracking those winds from our first-alert weather center. >> samantha: hey, duff. good afternoon. we are dealing with windy conditions today. i want it take you to a live look at current wind speeds. we are coming in at about 20 miles an hour sustained out of the north in mentor. 23 miles an hour sustained in wooster. so, it is very, very windy out there. we are gusting up to 32 miles an hour in elyria, 29 miles an hour in cleveland. and have seen higher gusts than that today as we get those cold lake erie. a lot of cloud cover has developed across northeast ohio and we are also tracking a few little rain drops out there across cuyahoga, summit, portage, geauga, trumbull, columbiana and mahoning counties. this is not heavy rain did you definitely light, patchy stuff out there. i think that will be the trend through about 6:00 as temperatures continue to fall and the winds will probably not let up at all, at least not much, until tomorrow. we will t tonight's forecast and we will look ahead to the weekend coming up in just a bit. >> tia: all right, sam. thank you so much. well it's veterans day. a day when we honor the men and women who have served and sacrifice sod that we can have the freedoms we enjoy every single day in the united states. students and staff at dover elementary in westlake did that by holding a veterans' day breakfast. the school invited local veterans to enjoy a meal and be honored for all they did to >> brian: in brook park, the city honored veterans by dedicating the snow road bridge to them. it will now be known as the veterans memorial bridge and will have signs posted honoring all military branches of the united states. there will also be 30 flags permanently flown from the bridge. a veterans day surprise for a third grader at brim field elementary school. air force master sergeant matthew cope surprised his daughter, phoebe, with a visit to her school today. she has not seen her dad in six >> tia: oh, i love that. did you see those little tears coming down?
