hardest. let's send it right over to beth who has been tracking the storm all day. hey, beth. >> hey. we were already talking about this. had this been january, we we never expected a lot of snow. the watch boxes out towards our west and out towards eerie, pa, those are warning boxes. we are under a high wind advisory through tomorrow, until about 4:00, which will affect the browns game. snow continues to come down. this is the biggest accumulation we have seen. at this point, we have seen two inches so we are late. the wind 45 miles an hour expected to increase as we go overnight. i thought i would take h this time, most of you have already been through this, i thought i would take the time to show you our new weather app. we are the only station in town to give you the first alert weather app with the latest technology. when you open it up, you see the weather team standing there smiling. this is why you need to take the upper bar? that takes you to our latest video. this will pinpoint the video in your backyard. this app is free and it is easy to use. the feels like temperature feels like 28 degrees. then take a look, you can track the snow however you want, depending on where you live. i was showing different people out of the lake, it is 55 degrees, it is comingn rain. once it comes inland, it has cooled off. it is heavy, wet snow. this app is easy to navigate. the best part is is we are updating the browns day forecast. we are tracking the snow but as you know, tracking snow gets trickier as snow bands wobble across town. the lake effect is going to continue tonight. still expecting to see an inch most is lake effect off lake erie for us in cleveland. some of us is coming off lake michigan and going towards columbus in mansfield. everybody is in the same boat. to our society, there is high pressure that works its way in for monday, not giving us a sunny day. the wind gusts are howling. as soon as that started, people from is unbelievable. it will continue tomorrow through the browns game. your future view and the temperatures, mid 30's along the lake shore and dipping into the 20's. look how the lake effect starts to end and comes inland a little bit. where this band sets up, that's yet to be determined. akron, you are probably not done seeing the sun as we go into inland into the 20's. as we make a turn, look at this, our future inches. however, if one of those snow bands is over you, you could end up wither more. the roads are wet. still looking at two inches, even lake county as we go through sunday. still, this is easy to handle because the ground is so warm. tomorrow, big game changer. i know you might be thinking, i can survive 38 degrees. the problem with this, even though we are in the 30's downtown for the game, let me show you the windchill forecast model. it keeps the windchills in the mid 20's all day long. the wind willing howling 40 to 50-mile-an-hour wind gusts. tomorrow, although it is 38. it will never feel like that. the winds will be howling. we should fare temperaturewise a little bit better. tuesday, the pick day of the week after yesterday's 70's, this is truly the pick day of week. 45 john loufman. hey, john. >> one reason the roads might be hard to navigate, not only the wind. we have had wind gusts in excess of 40 miles an hour. take a look outside, we have bainbridge, we have seen thunder snow, a flash of lightning. we have seen ice pellets. we have seen small grople. we have seen the snow and the grass can covered. last november we ended up with eight-tenths of an inch. can you hear the wind pellets, if you are in a high profile vehicle, the wind gusts, it will complicate matters as the wind advisory that is in effect will continue right through the course of the safe. right now, you are looking at first energy power outage map. there are scattered outages in northeast ohio, most of them with a handful of c affected t. largest one in seven hills, they are up to 500 customers without power. crews are out all over the area working to get electricity back up and running because you are going to need it with tonight's chilly temperatures. cleveland 19 cameras caught these pictures at hopkins airport base. whenever the snow flies, they are ready. more than 100 workers and 60 snow removal vehicles did a dry run. the airport has made big equipment after being fined by the faa for not being prepared during the last winter storm. cleveland 19 is all over this storm thanks to our viewers all over northeast ohio. check out the scene in avon lake. it looked like there was a lot of sleet coming down. that didn't seem to be the only thing. they had bad wind over there too. watch the cover start to start flapping off. there is a girl's chair, fw these pictures are from cleveland area where they saw sleet and snow coming down this afternoon. and the winds were flipping a nag and the trees in the neighborhood. if you look at the grass, you can see the snow starting to stick to the grass. >> that's our anchor brian duffy showing us the scene from that pine tree might be covered by tomorrow morning. we have this picture from ron in brunswick where there is a dusting of snow and steven sent us this picture of the peaceful field, a winter scene. we don't mind that part. wait until march and april, we'll hate it then. we can show you the progression of the snow. early this afternoon, it was wet snow. so far no snow gathering on the pumpkins on the back porch. now look there is snow on the pumpkins and on the deck and also in the trees
