>> reporter: well, best i am on warren road in lakewood. wind came through and knocked down part of a tree. the tree limb came from this here and knocked out power to lots of people. in fact tens of thousands of people. we talked a little while ago to kim and her son lincoln were sitting on the porch because it is so hot without power. we literally walked across the street and a couple just getting home found out they have power. it is sporadic where house is without power right now. traffic has been flowing evenly right now. again, the wind came through and knocked out part of this tree, this limb and we heard a big tree is down on bell avenue in lakewood. and so again it depends on what house and what side of the street you are on whether or not you have power. we will keep on owner walking through and look on his face. >> a ferocious storm knocked out power to thousands and businesses were not immune even though they had generators. generators runs four big coolers and try the idlewild and soak zone 50 miles east of pittsburgh. no word on the child's condition. the boy was talking about he went to the memorial services announced for former representative steven latourette. they will take place monday at 10:30 at university circle, united methodist church in cleveland. latourette died after battling cancer at the age of 62 at his home in virginia. >> romona: on that. >> a sad site in the school of green, it was destroyed by five teens. police arrested three 16-year-olds and 16 brandon mccroskey. the parks mean a lot to the community and sheriff's office understands that. and they acted swiftly. the time sad to see the schoolhouse like this. >> it is sad someone would intentionally burn it down. it is like green's only landmarks and upsetting somebody fate is not decided. a woman died after a break-in and robbery. akron police got a 911 call from summer hill apartment. the caller said two men pistol whipped two people. one victim laid down after
