The leagues policies are once again under the microscope. Domestic abuse allegations against a new york giants player getting a second look by investigators. Cleveland 19 chris tanaka is getting answers about some very chris indeed, ramona. The exwife of new york giants kicker josh brown allege more than 20 instances of mental, physical and verbal abuse. The charges were dropped when she decided she wouldnt testify against him. Late this afternoon, the giants expected to put brown on the commissioners exempt list basically meaning his days with the team would be done. Shocking details were revealed in documents released by police in washington and king county where the browns lived during the in his own words, brown said he viewed himself as a god and his wife was basically his slave. He went on to say when i control her, she should be invisible and satisfied. She should die. He claims these were made as journal entries in a therapy program. The nfl suspended brown for only one game, the season opener, for violating the personal conduct policy. But now in light of this new information, league probe. This afternoon, Michele Miller talks to a grieving family with a warning for others after the sudden death of a model, a single mother and an Ohio University graduate. 34yearold katie may suffered a stroke in february. Now, this week the Los Angeles CountyCoroners Office confirmed her death was caused by an injury office. I love you. Reporter katie may was the self proclaimed queen of snapchat. I wanted to wish a happy veterans day to all of our troops. Reporter a model working to provide for her young daughter, she was the youngest of four siblings. She was always a fire cracker. She was always a spark plug. Reporter days before the 34yearold died in february, she posted on twitter that she had pinched a nerve in her neck at a photo shoot and was going friends say she became sick a few hours after the appointment and taken to the emergency room. She was pronounced brain dead the next day and taken off life support. The la county coroner says her death, while accidental, was caused by vertebral artery dissection, a tear in one of the arteries to the brain caused by a chiropractor treatment. This is more common that people get overadjusted and theres a tear and itau stroke and death. Reporter you always think this wont happen to my family. This sort of thing wont happen to my family. But it did. And theres a huge gaping hole in our family now. Reporter a neuro surgeon told cbs news chances of injuring your neck during a visit to the chiropractor are rare but can be disabling.
