Kasich says if he doesnt drop out of the race. p romona the use of red light and speed cameras and drawn the anger of many of you. in cleveland people took to the streets call for city leaders to ban the devices. they listened and the cameras were taken down. they are still being used in someplaces like lindale and newburg heights. now there is a new tool nor generating tickets. they are called dragon cameras and they are a way to get around the law that banned the unmanned traffic cameras. p denise the devices are used to check your speed. are they about safety or are they about generating revenue . paul went in search of the answers. i was surprised. i couldnt believe it. p reporter we only had to go as far as our control room for someone not happy. phyllis was not happy after getting a ticket from newburg heights. yes. like i have money to throw away like that. she never saw an officer. to be legal senate bill 342 requires an officer be nearby to witness the events. the officer observes from this building. it has smoked windows so you cant see inside to see if an officer was there. when we stopped by there was somebody there, but president would questions. thats the reason most people stopped using the traffic cameras. mike allen is an attorney who filed a Class Action Lawsuit and forced the city to pay 2 million in refunds to people who got unwitnessed tickets. they will get the idea that people hate these things. now there is more to hate. the dragon camera can read dozens of times a minute and reads license plates so clearly the tickets are married to violator. and it can be laser jamming devices people use and can see fences.
