expected to ramp up in boone county... elias: the iowa utilities board is in the middle of evidentiary hearings on the proposed bakken pipeline. if approved the project would cut the state in half, and transport oil from north dakota to illinois. meanwhile, there's a growing concern that the evidentiary hearings in boone county are irrelevant. some say dakota access is already acting like it has approval for the project, by handing out contracts and stockpiling pipes near newton. once the evidentiary hearings are complete in iowa, there is no set timeline for hte utilities board to make a decision. sabrina: iowans are still voicing their concerns over the proposed oil pipeline...even braving the weather over the weekend to protest.. dozens of people in cedar rapids rallied saturday...all from iowa 350, a local chapter of a national group workjing to address climate change. the protestors called on the iowa utilities board to reject the pipeline...saying it could hurt approval from all four states that the pipeline crosses. south dakota regulators are set to decide if they'll allow bakken construction to happen in that state today. elias: fort dodge authorities are destroyed a police vehicle... elias: over the weekend, a mobile speed unit car was found in flames.... they say the unit was located at the 3400 block of 5th avenue south.... police responded to call of a vehicle fire in that area and found the unit fully engulfed. the cause of the fire is unknown, but it has been deemed supicous... fort dodge police are asking anyone who may have seen what inside of the iowa city public library sunday. he explained the islamic faith and its purpose....and compared the definition of faith's beliefs to show that all of the recent violent acts are
