Relocating the ramp here, crews working on the i4 and 408 interchange. Which you know is in desperate need of a remodel. You need to use south street, to access the detour. The new ramp on division avenue and the temporary ramp, one of the first major changes for 408 commuters. So get ready for it. Put your seatbelt on, a long and bumpy ride. John a heartbroken Community Helping out a local family after a teenager dies in a house fire. 17yearold trevor ross loved animals, photography and volunteered in the community. You are seeing pictures of him taken by one of his close friends. The fire broke out on wednesday night on west minneola spreet and ridge crest drive. Crews arrived and found the house fully engulfed and wend inside and found ross near the front door of the home. The only one inside when the fire broke out. The community now organizing efforts to help out the family. The community has been wonderful so far. And, pouring out donations of clothing, food, monetary gift cards. It is one of 50 cities expected to have a warmer than normal summer and researchers say that makes orlando the perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes that carry zika. The map also takes into account the number of International Travellers expected to travel to those cities over the summer. And, this news comes as four new zika cases were announced here in the sunshine state. Officials say they discovered one case in Brevard County and three others in alachua county. Were not just talking sweets, but foods in general, because there is a problem, lets be honest, there is an obesity problem. Out when we get the chance to . We want our favorite foods, we all do. And we talked about how you have the sweet tooth and i have the favorite foote and you dont want to give those things up but there are ways to make those things healthier. Decrease the calories while still getting to eat the foods we love. Sour cream. In place of sour cream, i like to do nonfat plain greek yogurt. I do this with kids, taste tests with them in the classroom and they can mott tell this difference cannot tell the difference, it cuts the calories and fat in half. The same texture. My kids will not eat sour cream but would eat the yogurt. The healthier option. On top of tacos and soups, luanne i didnt know croutons are bad for us. Are they awful . They are not awful. They are high in refined carbohydrates. And, so instead of the croutons pecans or walnuts that will be higher in those healthy fats. And these nuts have been shown to help increase your good cholesterol and decrease your bad cholesterol. And you still get the crunch on your salad. Yes, an easy swap. And what do we hoof here . Instead of using cream, we have evaporated skim milk. Luanne why is that better . Cream is really high in fat and with evaporated skim milk you get rid of the fat in decreasing the calories significantly but the same consistency. When you put it into a recipe it doesnt change the texture of the food. I love to do this when i make a fritatta or a cream based soup. Luanne you saved me a bunch of calories, ill use this next time i make the broccoli and cheese soup. And dont use salt. There are other things you can use. Absolutely. Dishes. Without adding a lot of sodium. And they are great because they are high in antioxidants. Some of my favorite spices are using turmeric or cinnamon, card mon and stay away from garlic or onion salt. Luanne it gives you the salty taste you crave. You get significantly less sodium with onion or Garlic Powder and at the table put a little bit of salt on it. Luanne the final one if you are making brownies, which you have you can sub out a cup of black bean puree for a cup of flour, if you are making homemade brownies . Luanne does it taste the same. Absolutely the same. I like them more. They are more moist and delicious and avocado is a great substitute for butter. I make a chocolate avacado fat. And it is really decadent serving does it work in recipes as well . You have to play with it but ungeneral one cup of avacado, the same as one cup of butter. Luanne great advice.
