day orlando." we're hanging out in studio b, where they are finishing up the guys. we'll talk about how they got started doing the unique form of art, coming up. plus, david martin. >> hello, luanne, i have your preview of the orlando ballet's largest production of the year. they call it don quixote. the people behind the wonderful of... >> "good day orlando." into >> amy: nice, and, he'll be sake later today, very hot! it will be steamy out there. >> good morning, everybody, thanks for joining us this morning. one difference from yesterday to today is the dry air that continues to fill into central florida and it will limit any kind of cloud cover we'll have today and clock numbers are in, low and mid 70s reported in it is warm out the door. it is humid out the door, and now we are seeing a lot of sunshine, look at that. satellite perceive, low level clouds -- perspective, low level clouds burning off the next little bit. forecast, mostly sunny skies, high temperatures, upper 80s, today. warm, west winds continue to bring in the warm air. and in the sun, it will feel more like the 90s, the full 7-day forecast, coming up. john and amy? >> all right, thank you, breaking news. a home invasion suspect causes a nasty crash in winter garden. >> john: holly bristow joins us live from good homes road with this latest out there. >> reporter: good morning, two crashes and investigators are blaming it all on home invasion suspects driving in the mill ser mercedes suv: there were four guys in the car and had a home invasion in ocoee police officer was behind them when the silver suv went through the stop sign, or stoplight, and there. we're told the driver of the car is in critical condition, going through surgery at the hospital and if you look further done the intersection a police car is facing the camera. you may not be able to see it but interest -- there is minor front end damage and we're told the police officer was trying to get through the intersection on a red light. and wound up running into the white older nissan path finder you see sitting in the middle of the intersection. now, four suspects are on the loose, they were the four in the mercedes suv, from what investigators say they hatch gone through the car however there was a gun visible when they got on scene and look at the car to see if anybody was around. no suspect description at this point. ocoee pd to get details and haven't heard back but when we learn more we'll pass the information along, reporting news. >> amy: thank you. troopers are investigating a deadly crash that had part of i-4 completely shut down after 3:00 a.m. on i-4 westbound at sand lake road. troopers say a van was going the wrong way and hit a taxi head on. both drivers were killed, troopers they alcohol could have been a factor. >> we found a bottle of hennessy in the driver's front right seat and there was a smell of alcoholic beverage, and that is typically this number one reason why people drive the wrong way. >> amy: troopers are trying to notify the next of kin for both of those drivers. primary day is here. >> polls opened up a couple of hours ago and some places, good lines this morning, we have team coverage, ryan in the newsroom candidates and gina is live at a polling place in winter park with the supervisor of elections. good morning. >> good morning, yeah, actually talked to the supervisor of elections and i'm here live at the winter park presbyterian church where there has been a steady stream of people coming into both -- a live look, you can see, a small line, definitely a slow stream and definitely a stream of people here, now, two million people voted early, across the state, more than 50 percent of them voted early in orange county, 20% of voters and the election supervisor tells me another 20% is expected today. now, for the most part everything has been running smoothly. but, they have run into some issues here in orange county. the good news is, it has nothing to do with the actual polling stations but they are technology stations and something is wrong with the tablets, not all the check in stations are running smoothly but here's what the supervisor said about that. i think our technicians who are in the field and the staff on the phone with them, i think we're getting toward -- they'll be up and running here shortly. >> now, again everything has been very slow and steady this morning, we have been out here all morning long. everything looking pretty good. we'll update you throughout the morning, now reporting live, gina benitez, fox 35 news. >> and, voters heading to the polls in ohio, illinois, missouri and north carolina today. for the republicans, there are 358 delegates at stake. and for the democrats it is 691. let's go out to ryan, he has more on the candidates today. good morning, ryan. >> good morning, this point there are no big rallies planned, the candidates hoping their last minute ads work, which you certainly have seen throughout the show this morning, marco rubio in miami, tonight. donald trump and hillary clinton both watch results from palm polls showing trump and clinton have big leads heading into this voting and the latest quinnipiac poll showing clinton leading bernie sanders 60-34% and the g.o.p. side, the latest poll shows trump has a 17 point lead, over marco rubio, a little closer to the polls we saw earlier this week, and ted cruz, third at 17% and the winner in florida takes home all 99 delegates, on the republican side, for the democrats, 214 are on the line and those will be split. and trump and clinton, if they win florida and ohio, it will be a big blow to their rivals. we'll have to see how things play out today. >> john: thanks and fox 35 is your source for elections. the polls close at 7:00 tonight. and right after that we begin with break-ins of election results from florida and around the nation. also, starting at 7:00 p.m. to an, we'll be broadcasting live on-line at www.fox35orlando.com. that is followed by fox 35 news at 10:00 with live reports from campaign trail and political also new this morning, the search is on for a man impersonating police in lake county. the suspect was spotted pulling over a woman on highway 50 in clermont just before 11:00 p.m. sunday. employees at the restaurant watched the whole thing ham. they say the man was wearing a brown uniform and had a gun. they say the suspect didn't notice them watching him and -- noticed them watching them and took off in the black crown victoria with lights in the wind wind. >> john: buying makeup for your teen and shampoo, what is in the stuff? good morning, david. >> reporter: good morning, to you, john. good morning, amy. i have the honor of being with the orlando ballet this morning. in the their rehearsal center. they are now officially in class. where they have to start stretching and stretched for many, many minutes, half an hour i'm told. aerobic, part cardio, and dance skills. we'll talk to them coming up in if you're doing everything right but find it harder and harder while our people work longer hours for lower wages, almost all new income goes to the top 1%. my plan -- make wall street banks and the ultrarich pay their fair share of taxes, provide living wages for working people, ensure equal pay for women. i'm bernie central florida. >> john: i can't believe, 90 already! march! >> amy: crazy! >> john: on the health watch, a study suggests it is time for teen girls in particular to use chemical-free cosmetics. >> amy: turns out the chemicals can be wreaking havoc on their young hormonal bodies. dr. mike is joining us live to tell us more about this new study. good morning, good to see yo44444444444 >> hello, amy, how are you. >> good, thanks. chemicals. you know, we all use them, not just reserved for teenage girls, we're talking about stuff we all use, shampoos and conditioners right? the reason that the researchers focused on teenage girls is that teenage girls are going through rapid development and their bodies are growing and all kind of hormonal changes are happening. and, if they apply chemical-laden cosmetics, on their face or their shampoo, it actually ends up in the body and they know this because they look at the urine and the urine shows these chemicals the problem is a lot of these chemicals have negative effects on hormones. they are called endocrine disrupt terse and these products, these chemicals can have long lasting effects. they can lead to an increased risk of cancer, fertility issues, obesity, all kinds of problems, and they need to be legislated out of cosmetics for young kids. teenage girls. >> it is scary, you go through and have no idea what the stuff is. what is the recommendation and what do you need to do to at least -- because the girls will wear lipstick and eye shadow. is there a safe way to do this? >> well, what i would do -- remember, i have a daughter and you have two, right? i know you have one daughter. >> amy: two. >> so i have a daughter, she's four and is doing her nails already at the age of 4! >> amy: doing your nails, right. >> no, i like biting my nails. i don't put anything on them. the thing is, when it comes to getting cosmetics for young people, you need to go to a reputable dealer, and you need to go to the counter and say, you know what? on fox news, i heard about these chemicals that are in cosmetics and i want chemical-free cosmetic. is absolutely no regulation whatsoever. in the industry. and, that needs to change. >> you are right because even if you think you are getting something that is chemical-free, there is really no guarantee. that's what is scary. >> no guarantee. right. you got it. >> dr. mike, good stuff. good information, we appreciate your time as always, see you soon. >> amy, you never need makeup, you look fabulous! >> amy: i love you, dr. mike, i love ya! all right, over to -- he doesn't need makeup, either, he's flawless! >> good morning, everybody, 9:15 a.m., 69 degrees and, or lake mary studios, low 70s and have the thin layer of overcast skies, right now. they'll be warmth is on the way. look, i mean, seriously, we have been showing the map for a long time, this winter because of el nino, we are seeing a lot of warmer than normal conditions. and that is the case, there is no cold air to come into central florida. any time soon. today, a lot of sunshine, we will increase the clouds as we go through wednesday, thursday, friday and today, it looks spectacular. let's go ahead and break it down. this afternoon, again the west winds, through all of central florida, again, i doubt we'll see much if any sea breeze and conditions, really will not change until thursday, thursday, st. patrick's day we will see the risk of a shower or two: just enough to make you feel like you are back in dublin, having a guiness and then, it looks like friday into saturday >> it is up to them. this future of the republican party and ultimately the future of america is at stake and there's a choice today. it is between optimism and help the negativity and anger fed into our political culture. and i hope people choose the hope and optimism of our campaign. i know we have problems, people i love and people in my family and i faced some of the problems our country is confronting. but we can fix these things, there is nothing we can't do and when we do it we'll heavy this greatest era in our history. the choice today and i ask them to reject the division and disunity. we don't need to be angry and frustrated to succeed and the last point i would make to republicans, think about it carefully. if we nominate the wrong person we'll lose in the general election. and, i am the only one left in this race to unite the party an grow it and i consistently beat hillary clinton, and that is perhaps the most important goal we have of all here, as republican, to ensure that hillary clinton is not elected the 45th president of the u.s. >> amy: senator, i thought last week you were vulnerable and said, i wasn't happy with how i ago. my kids were embarrassed, my wasn't the way to go. and you came out and, kind of had a mea culpa. how do you feel now and do you feel that has contributed to the slide in some of the polls? >> no, i don't think so. first of all, i don't can your about the political impact of it. it has to dough with me as a person. what we are seeing is this national media coverage on the election, other people are winning states, negativity surrounds the coverage and it impact people, but, these elections are about ups and downs, we have had victories since then and won in puerto rico and the washington, d.c. and in minnesota. and came close to winning virginia and took basically half the delegates there. and we feel good about florida. and, you know, i know these polls are inaccurate and i'm not worried about them. i know voters are making the decision, right now and are going out an voting. that will determine the outcome and we feel positive about that. we have a tremendous amount of >> what do you airport tomorrow? >> where do you go from here? if you do well, today, do you move on? where do you go from here? >> yes. well, we're going to utah either way. i. >> molly: the difference of course is, i'd much rather go to utah, the winner of the florida primary with the momentum and 99 dregs than someone who -- delegates than someone who didn't win, but we're going to utah nonetheless, and arizona as well. we win in florida we're going with a lot of momentum and 99 delegates and really have an impact on the outcome. it goes to the question you asked earlier. momentum is real as it in sports and, the key states, utah an arizona, and nothing will give us more momentum than florida and the delegates, the single largest prize in the primary up to now. >> amy: what has been your biggest surprise during this election campaign? what has it been more than >> if you told me a year ago the leading candidate in terms of delegates and the polls is someone who supports planned parenthood, has been a long time supporter of abortion, is against the second amendment, and, supports government-run health care, that would be the leader in the republican primary i would say you are out of your mind. no way yet that happened and a lot is a reflection of anger, donald trump tapped into an anger, which is a legit anger but leader don't manipulate anger. they address it and address the conditions behind that anger, and they show you a better way forward. what ronald reagan did. and, instead what he's doing is using the anger to get people to vote for him. but it has been destructive for our country and led us into a nation where people now hate each other. because they have different political views, you now have people who hate each other. i'm not saying he started that. but i am saying he's contributed to it. >> senator we had donald trump on last week, and, that was one of this questions i asked. talking about this anger where conservative. and i asked, do you think there will be buyers remorse after -- conservatives supporting you and you aren't. do you think there will be buyers remorse when they see what his policies might be? >> absolutely. not only -- i mean, whether he wins or loses, i have been saying all week, there will be people out there that are supporting his candidacy, prominent people, that will spend the next few years, perhaps the rest of their political lives explaining how they fell into this. happen. i hope people understand, if you take what he's doing now as candidate and put it into the white house, do people understand what impact it will have on the country? what it will make us look like to the world and do to our society? we have never had a president that uses profanity in public events. think about the impact it will have on children. i know people are upset and want to send a message and love the fact some guy is saying, what they wish they could say. but, presidents can't say whatever they want. the words of a president or even consequences, we are already seeing that now. and it is only going to get worse as time goes on and i hope -- the reckoning is coming and i after. >> amy: we appreciate you taking the tomb to talk to us and our viewers today. they appreciate it, too. thank you so much and hopefully we'll talk to you tomorrow, too. >> yes, ma'am, thank you. >> john: thank you. all right, it is 9:57. we're out of time. primary day. captioning provided by caption solutions, llc blarpg live from new york city, it's "the wendy williams show." >> wendy: how you doin'? the kids have come to play today. you won't believe what i'm about to tell you. all due respect, have several seats. my girls are always turned out. i give it to you straight, no chaser. >> now, here's wendy!
