and brentwood drive. investigators say the man was hit and killed by an s-u-v. the victim's name is not being released at this time. witnesses say they often see people crossing the road... even though there is no crosswalk. the driver of the s- u-v did stop... and is cooperating with the investigation. there is no word on if that person will face charges. morning-- the search is on for opened fire on a deputies. investigators say it happened-- just before midnight-- saturday at the "mister gyros" on west colonial drive. deputies say they arrived on the scene-- after a trespasser. soon after they showed up-- they heard gunfire coming at them from behind the building. luckily --no deputies but the store whole thing. deputies say a dark suburban pulled-out of the parking lot... it is still unclear if the people inside the s-u-v were involved in the shooting. if you are headed to "bike week"-- you can expect to see more cops on the road. as thousands of bikers roll into town... officers say that keeping everyone safe -- is their top-priority. daytona beach police say they are for the 75th annual event. so far -- police say they have doubled their patrols.... and will cruise ship near florida's key largo. officials say the 46- year-old fell about 100-feet from the 10th deck of royal caribbean's "navigator of the seas ship" late friday. a helicopter and plane were used in the search.... which says covered more square nautical miles. getting schooled. closer to getting the money needed to build its downtown campus. state lawmakers approved 700-million dollars in school funding yesterday. of that money.... 20- million dollars would go toward the downtown campus. more than any other now that the money by the state board of governors... and the legislature... it
