The two 18 year olds knew there was an secured gun in the room, found it and were horsing around when the fatal shot was fired. Our homicide squad will be going through and seeing what happened and trying to figure out if more charges should be filed or if the possession of a firearm by a convicted felony is enough of a charge against this individual. At this point they are unsure whether or not he will be charged with anything else or whether the two 18 year olds playing with the gun will be charged.
