You know, some parts of i95 have reopened. Sections from benson to fayetteville continue to be impacted through the weekend. The ncdot is building a crossover that would allow traffic to shift to the northbound side so engineering crews can repair the southbound side. The crossover will be in place for at least three weeks. And a lot of good will on display in lumberton this week as companies joined forces to feed families in 20,000 people yesterday. One thing they had in common, they were all homeless in the first place. Its not like theyre going to be reunited with someone back in South Carolina. You see, they had to be moved out of their shelters to make room for the displaced dogs who got separated from the families by the storm and making them that much more special. There is always a lot of interest in any animals that come with the story. I think it tugs to peoples heartstrings. Like michael who had to make a reporter and also heartwarming when all of the hard work pays off from getting the dogs in in the first place to, well . Are you a good boy .
