most of us will see dry weather tonight with drizzle and mist. as we widen out and take you here to mississippi, they are getting the worst of it right now, heavy rain along with strong winds and severe thunderstorms and isolated tornadoes. if we turn off the radar and turn on the active warnings, the red box is here and there are about three of them, are current active severe tornado warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings in yellow stretch back to louisiana and there is even a flood warning there in green. we could see all this tomorrow winds with thunderstorms and isolated tornadoes. the temperatures will be totallalling different. it is chill with numbers in the 40s and 50s but tonight is one of those nights our temperatures will go up overnight. with smaller rain chances through midnight we will see temperatures hold in the mid 40s. then the warm front wi pass through and bump us up to 50 by tomorrow morning's commute. it is also tomorrow morning that we start to see rain chances go back up. it is early tomorrow morning we should not see the severe weather. that is late in the morning. the morning commute will be soggy, but not stormy. and also tomorrow, as if that is not enough, right? outside of the thunderstorms it is going to be windy. between 9:00 and midnight tomorrow we have a wind advisory in affect where we could see gusts up to 45 miles per hour. as for the rising temperatures overnight, that warm front will push back to the north. not only will that warm up our atmosphere, but it will make it, we will have a lot of moisture out there and all that will combine to give us a threat of severe weather. let's walk you through the next 36 to 48 hours. we will start off late tonight. again, it will be cloudy, but it will also be dry for a lot of us. misty and drizzly, yes, but no rain on the radar. that changes for tomorrow's morning commute. late in the morning, i would say after 10:00 a.m. we will see a line develop to the west ahead of the cold front and the line will push through and hit all of us, especially around lunch time to early afternoon. there could eventually be two separate lines that could last through the middle of the afternoon. then, as we get to the evening hours, that is when the rain will clear, we will be able to sound the all clear and the cold front will move through. that will kind of wipe the atmosphere clear and drop our temperatures. that is what we will have by thursday morning. we have one more day of this, but tomorrow is the worst of the days. for one of the few times year -- this only happens once or twice, we have gone into the enhanced risk for severe weather, third out of five. we could see 70-mile per hour winds with strong tornadoes between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. during those times have access to radar. make sure whether it is our phone app or any phone app, make sure you have a chance to get warnings when they are issued. we have to be weather aware tomorrow. it will be warm, windy and wet, and it goes away thursday and friday as cooler weather returns with drier weather that will last through the weekend and we rebound by early next week. our three degree guarantee tomorrow is 70. today we only made it to 46. unfortunately we we would get up to 50, so no money from us for the american heart association but our numbers sit at $2,000 as we are almost to the end of heart awareness month. we hope to get the numbers back up and on track tomorrow. >> we will get the numbers back up. a lot of weather welcome back. well, one thing for sure, coach has no immediate plans to call it quits for north carolina, like a scandal hanging over the program like a big, black cloud. >> when i leave i want to be in good shape. for me this would have been a hard time for me to leave. these days. when i am 94 i will be sitting up here saying the thing. we need to get the thing over with. >> arbitrarily potential recruits with possible sanctions against the school is not a sure thing. invited williams to be on the radio show and the university said no. he is very upset about overnight but the storms breaking news tonight. state of emergency as tornadoes explode across the south. millions under a severe threat. fears the town could be demolished in the dark. trump towers as nevada votes tonight and can he win three in a row?
