evidence, then destroyed. in elmhurst, queens, mark san santia, news4, new york. tonight the state's governor says human error was not a factor in the amtrak derailment. it hit rocks that fell from a nearby ledge and that caused the derailment. the four crew members and passengers that were hurt have been released from the hospital, and the governor said he hopes the train will resume full service of the biggest needs here continues to be water. with the city's water system compromised, truckloads of bottled water are being moved in with the hope that all of this unwanted water will start to asked andrew what he would do with the money from his wife's estate. >> probably pay some old bills. actually would give money to the charity which she lived for. >> reporter: we confirmed that the stocks were turned over to the office of unclaimed fund in new jersey which is run by the state treasury department. they said the state liquidated the shares, as is usually done quickly with stocks, and the state, they say, is currently holding $250 under linda's name. you should know all property turned over to that office there remains there in perpetuity or until a valid claim is processed. so there is no sort of statute of limitations. it doesn't stay there for five years and disappear. it stays there forever. >> your heart breaks for him. what can we do to prevent this from happening in the future. >> she had these accounts for so many years, and after a certain number of years, financial institutions in particular are required to turn over these funds. make sure you maintain some
