wmur's mike is live in belmont with more. mike? reporter: well, shelly and tom, just within the last minute, we got an update from state police. they sent out a press release. they still have not located the suspect but they have located his car. but, again, at this point, they are still looking for the suspect. here's more on what state police had to say. the search is on for this man, 24-year-old hayden moon, after a traffic stop led to an officer-involved shooting in police say he was suspiciously parked on south road. an officer realized there was a warrant for his arrest. but police aren't saying what he was wanted for. >> he was informed there was a warrant, an incident ensued. resulted in an officer discharging his weapon. reporter: while police tried to make moon into custody, he allegedly sped off and the officer fired multiple shots. it's unclear if moon was hit. he was last seen driving a gray license plate number 3938299. with extensive front-end damage. >> he's not a specific danger to the public. i would use the typical precautions we always tell individuals, that if you do see him or know of his whereabouts, do not make contact with him. notify your local police or the new hampshire state police. reporter: investigators say moon lives locally and has ties to the area. police want to hear from anyone who knows where he is. >> if someone knows w h that call, so we can bring this to a peaceful resolution. reporter: and, again, investigators have found moon's car but they have not found him. anyone with information is asked to call police. reporting live in belmont, mike cronin, wmur news 9. >> thank you. well, we are following breaking news from londonderry. police have just announced that the search for 22-year-old victor rosario is over. he turned himself in tonight and was released on bail. rosario allegedly took his building yesterday afternoon. the two were found hours later in worcester, massachusetts. rosario is due in court on monday. a mother and son are in the hospital tonight after they were hit by a car in hudson. it happened on central street, just before 8:00 tonight. police say the two were walking home from fright night at the community center. the woman is in serious condition. her son suffered non-life-threatening injuries. the driver is cooperating with the investigation. >> well, it was another rainy and dy state. let's take a look at meredith. temperature, 43. as that rain begins to move out, a chance of some showers sticks around for the weekend. mike here now with the outlook. >> one more weak system that has to move through between now and, say, tomorrow night. after that, fairly dry again. take a look at satellite imagery out there. over the past 12 hours, you are seeing the storm that did produce over a foot of snow atop mount washington. one to three in some of the higher terrain in western higher elevations near mount washington. a coating elsewhere. rain is pulling away. winds are subsiding. temperatures stuck in the upper 30's. to lower 40's. even though skies are clearing aloft, still a few low clouds for the next couple of hours before partial clearing but already signs of that next system racing towards new hampshire, about some time tomorrow morning into the early afternoon. what about the chance of a shower south? do we get a lot of at least by sunday? all of that, straight ahead. >> we're headed on to commitment 2016 tonight. and hillary clinton is now calling on the f.b.i. to release all the information it has after the agency announced that it is looking at whether newly discovered e-mails contain any classified information. the democrat presidential candidate made her first comments on the issue tonight. but her opponent wasted little time today giving his reaction. >> so the american people complete facts immediately. >> a new shock for the hillary clinton campaign. f.b.i. director james comey says his agency is reviewing more e-mails that may contain classified information. they were found during the sexting investigation of anthony weiner. the former congressman and the estranged husband of one of clinton's closest aides. >> i'm confident, whatever they are, will not change the conclusion reached in july. therefore, it's imperativeha question, whatever it is, without any delay. >> the news broke just as republican nominee donald trump took to the podium in manchester. >> and they are reopening the case into her criminal and illegal conduct that threatens the security of the united states of america. [cheering] reporter: and it comes just days before americans go to the polls. >> it's the last thing that it's the last thing that democrats here in new hampshire who support hillary clinton need. reporter: in a statement, democratic senate candidate governor maggie hassan defended clinton, saying this matter has been investigated exhaustively and secretary clinton has appropriately apologized and said that the handling of her e-mails was a mistake. but republican incumbent kelly ayotte said in a statement, governor hassan needs to answer for her inability to call clinton out on even her most egregious national security failures. f.b.i. director comey says it is unclear whether the e-mails are significant or not, but he says he cannot predict how long it will take to come to any conclusion. and chelsea clinton will be in the granite state tomorrow. clinton is attending the kennedy clinton dinner at the radisson in manchester. and former new york city mayor rudy giuliani will be stumping for donald trump tomorrow at trump campaign offices in laconia, salem and manchester. get the set built at st. anselm college for hour granite state debates which kick off on tuesday. the first debate is with the candidates for governor, followed by the u.s. senate and congressional races. and, of course, you can watch each debate right here on wmur, starting at 7:00 p.m. as well as on our website, mobile app and facebook page. >> still got some politicking to go through, huh? >> yes! >> do you think they're gonna win this time? >> yes! i think they've got a good team, strong, young. if they don't get too upset. reporter: she's been faithfully watching the cubs rise to the top this season. her love of the sport has not gone unnoticed. >> hazel's extreme fandom is being picked up by newspaper and media outlets. everyone trying to hold on to that optimism she has, 108 years after the last time the cubs won the world series. she says she's hopeful they're going to do it again this time. >> not the easiest team to root for. >> well, it was for me, because i felt like i knew them. reporter: in 108 years, hazel has seen a lot. >> i have. i've had a good life. reporter: she was in eighth grade when world war i entered, enter the teacher during the depression and had two sons during world war ii. what she hasn't seen is the one thing she's wanted so badly. >> i waited and waited and never lost faith. >> now, chief meteorologist mike haddad with your storm watch 9 forecast. >> we're shaking the clouds and rain out of here, bringing in a bit of partial clearing but system, moving in from eastern portions of ontario, nosing right towards new york state. towards tomorrow morning, right over northern new hampshire. a very narrow band of showers could clip anywhere in the state to about 8 or 9 in the morning. best shot for showers after that will clearly be in the northern half of the state. upper 30's to lower 40's. temperatures holding steady a good part of the night due to the clouds hanging around and a little bit of those winds, five to 15 miles per hour over central and southern new hampshire. it is chilly. temperatures... nice warm-up sitting back to our west. as a matter of fact, temperatures are above average in the great lakes. all the way down to the midwest into the mississippi valley. and that mild air is surging in our direction for the middle of next week. we'll have to wait till then to get temperatures above average. but at least over the weekend and for halloween day, temperatures return into the 40's to the north, putting us right at the norm. in terms of the rain chances, that narrow band of showers will approach towards early morning and it may extend all the way down towards manchester for about a half hour to an hour, somewhere from about 8 or 9 in the morning. that quickly moves out. best shot of showers after that will be in northern half of the state, towards evening, chance that one of these showers scoot in. you get the idea based on futurecast that most of the energy for the s beyond that, fairly quiet sunday. a little bit of sunshine out there in northern new hampshire. more in southern zones. towards evening, a week system will clip southern new england and could produce a couple of clouds, maybe an isolated sprinkle towards evening over the border towns in places like nashua down through salem. i only give it about a 5%, 10% chance. that's it. 40's, 50's. finally back to average. same temperatures as we go into then here comes the warm-up. 60's by wednesday. still low 60's on thursday. beyond that, we start to cool back down a little bit. we did pick up one to as much as two inches of rain out there today. and you translate that into snow. the summit of mount washington, 14 inches of snow today! >> wow. >> it's up there. >> very good. we want it to hurry up and get over. last edition of friday night football. >> you're looking at the best running rushing champion, justin norris of kearsarge. those highlights and for months and months of this. i'd like to punch him in the face i'll tell you. there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her, wherever. kelly ayotte stood by him. would you tell a child to aspire to be like donald trump? annual halloween edition of the friday night football report. some teams hoping for more treats than tricks tonight as they play for conference titles and postseason positions. bishop guertin and nashua north, playing for the west conference championship tonight. first quarter, dylan fagan finds room around the right side and he's gone. 73-yard touchdown. that put b.g. in then sam raitt is going to find fagan. he takes it in 25 yards for another touchdown. bishop guertin in front, 14-0, just like that. but the next 21 belonged to north. they cap a 92-yard drive with jeff baldassari. 24-yard touchdown run. he had four rushing touchdowns on the night. ensuing kickoff, north forces the fumble and mason dane is there to recover on the b.g. 10-yard line. jordan buckmire takes it 10 yards for the score. north rushed for 446 yards in the game. it was a shoot-out. the titans scored touchdowns on nine straight at one point. north wins 67-36 to win the conference. they'll host a playoff game next week. merrimack and goffstown in a playoff preview. justin grassini threw two touchdown passes before being pulled so he tied the state record, now with 35 for the season. tomahawks win. those two teams next week in the first round of the playoffs. bedford at salem. bedford wins. same two teams will play next week in the playoffs as well. nick lehee rushed for 96 yards for the bulldogs. timberlane at londonderry. brandon caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from dan hayes. owls win 14-12. both teams finish the year at 2-7. an 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. austin fields had a good game at defensive end but the astros with several tackles. exeter and alvirne. the b blue hawks finish it 8-1. kyle ball ran for two touchdowns and threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to zack knight. portsmouth and spaulding. christian peat ran for three touchdowns. he also threw a touchdown pass and will and two scores. clippers win 46-6. they finish above 500 at 5-4. keene and winnacunnet. all about the winnacunnet defense. five interceptions tonight. one of the picks was a big defensive tackle. seth provencher, who returned 20 yards for a touchdown. they intercepted three of the team's first possessions. two of them went back for pick in the playoffs but still playing for seeding. hanover at 8-0. hanover won the toss. deferred, maybe not a great idea, since leif mailloux took it all the way for the touchdown. 7-0. hanover struggled on offense tonight but looked good here. nice ball to elliott kelly for the first down but that drive stalled. more generals. parker mcquarrie, the younger brother of drew, the senior finds the pylon. mcquarrie threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns. drew played tight end, eight catches for 111 yards and a score. the generals win it 42-19. they will likely be the two seed in the playoffs and they are the conference champs. five teams entered the weekend at 6-2 in division two, including milford and plymouth. colby moore takes off on a 58-yard touchdown run and plymouth takes a lead. this was a hard-hitting game. exhibit a. spartans running back, t.j. anderson, gets drilled by drew of the bobcats. nice hit there. milford retakes the lead on a short touchdown run by teagan vitali. 12-7 but they couldn't hold the lead. plymouth takes it 14-12. they used the point system in division two but it looks like plymouth gets does not. we'll have to wait and see. kennett and kingswood, eagles win 42-0. tanner brown was the star. two touchdowns. the pythons get a win on senior night. 25-0. four different players scored touchdowns, including a 62-yard pick six by devin russell. all right. st. thomas and trinity at gill wildcats. he makes a man miss. he's gone. touchdown for the saints. that put them up 21-0. second quarter, stacy overthrows his receiver. matthew worcester is there for the interception and worcester does the rest. he takes it the other way for a touchdown. the saints go on to win, 35-7. st. thomas is certainly playoff bound. brookline at the cavaliers win. they will likely get into the playoffs as well. ?[music]? >> in division three north, 7-0 monadnock hosting stevens. in the first quarter, huskies get on the board. it's levi with a 30-yard touchdown. made it 7-0, monadnock. huskies will add to their lead. a one-yard touchdown run. made it 14-0, monadnock. going as henry climbs zachary o'brien for an 11-yard pickup but huskies go on to win, 20-6. they're 8-0. they will be the number one seed in the d3 playoff.
