It is kind of a mix of seasons. We get all the seasons here. They blend together a lot of the time. That is seemingly what we have had play out through the middle of october. Clearing skies in central and southern areas, wow clouds have still snow on the ground in northern areas, and maybe adding to that is the day goes on. Next showers and some areas of snow later this evening. It depends on where you are in the state. Quite a few more clouds today in the north. I west wind will get going. Everyone will be in on that. Drier air continues to build in. Southern parts of canada watching these areas of light snow drift a little further south. A secondary disturbance moving toward the North Country later this afternoon. This evening through tomorrow morning, probably the best chance of accumulation in the North Country on this. In the 40s thanks to clouds overnight in the southern half of the state, but those continue to clear, providing a springboard. Mid 50s this afternoon. That westerly wind will make it feel a lot colder than that. With snow on the ground, temperatures down into the lower 30s, even with cloud cover in that direction. That usually is a sign that relatively speaking it will be windy for us later this partial sunshine up north. Maybe a couple next showers through the afternoon. A little more light snow through the overnight hours of north. There could be a couple inches of accumulation as you get in accumulation in the northern parts of the state overnight. Fair skies tomorrow. Pretty good breeze out of the northwest. That lightens on wednesdayer starts to advance. Several inches of snow for areas of of 3000 feet. Could be a light coating to maybe an inch or two in areas of lower elevations as you go through the North Country. From there, temperatures cooling off. Highs this time of year, mid 50s.
