monday afternoon police received several 911 calls of an adult dangling -- >> them being on the proper side of the fence, however within moments of him pulling up, he observed the defendant swing the child with one arm over the fence and placed the child on the side of the fence where the river was closest. reporter: court records say jordan let go of the child and pulled out his cell phone, police say the officer ordered him to bring the girl back to the other side of the fence, and the child was unharmed. in court, jordan see he would never do anything to hurt his daughter. the girl was released into the custody of her mother. jordan's bail was set at $7500 with another court date scheduled for next month. live in manchester, andy hershberger, wmur news 9. jennifer: right now franklin police are looking for the man surveillance video shows him take money from the register after pulling out a knife. tonight the clerk who was behind the counter is speaking. mike cronin live tonight outside of that store, in frankly with more. reporter: everything is back to normal tonight inside of this store here in franklin. but the store clerk describes a frightening situation last night, when he says that a man pulled a knife on him. take a look at this video surveillance, it shows a man robbed the shop express around 6:00. the suspect can be seen jumping over the counter, opening the cash drawer and leaving quickly. police say he stole about $600. police say he took off toward prospect street. the man behind the counter ran away after he says the suspect threatened to stab him if he inaudible (. >> that is not what usually happens here. it's very friendly atmosphere, everything is good. sometimes it happens. reporter: franklin police and concord regional crime line are investigating. if you recognize the suspect you are asked to give them a call. jennifer: police in nashua say a man pepper sprayed a pedestrian at a store in a road rage incident. anthony cardis is charged with second degree assault, the victim told police that he had been trying to cross the parking lot at macy's when curt is drove by. the two got into an argument and curtis intraid him in the eye with pepper spray, seriously injuring him. josh: plenty of reaction going to donald trump from both sides of the aisle tonight, this a day after calling for the u.s. to muslims. but two months before the new granite state poll shows that if you thought trump was going to fade, you might want to think again. seems at this point he can say just about anything. >> that -- is not going to josh: it's worth noting that there are plenty of votes still in place as this poll indicates that 82% of republicans have yet to make up their minds on one candidate. but should trump continue on missing man from chesterfield. josh: ronald cheever went for a home. yesterday that a body found by hunters in a state park last week is cheever. cheever had dementia at the time he went missing. jennifer: health officials in boston are confirming it was the norovirus, not e-coli, that made as many as 80 boston college students sick. the school says the students all ate at the chipotle in brighton. a restaurant employee reported being sick last week. the location has been shut down while it's cleaned top to bomb. >> upon entry to the establishment the inspector did identify three violations that caused enough concerns in her mind that she felt it was prudent for us to close the establishment. jennifer: chipotle is saying it does not believe this sickness is related to the this happens, just before the winter solstice arrives. josh: yes, as it comes through this week from the 3rd of this month through the next several days we are literally at rock bottom in terms of the but let's take a look now at when that starts to change. here's a look at the sunrise and sunset from today, right on through the next week or so. and it continues, you're looking at the sunset time of 4:11 sunset time, this is for concord, right through the 15th of this month, and then there's a change. you notice 4:12 and it start to get a little later, and that means that the end of the day will start to notice a little more time before sunset. but the morning keep going. why is this happening before the winter solstice? the answer is quite complicated. we'll give you the quick cliff notes version of it. the shape of around ss sun is closer to an oval than a perfect circle. it actually looks like this. and because of that, the speed of which the earth moves around the sun varies throughout the year. when we're closer to the sun, as 13.500 miles more each day than when it's farther away from the sun in orbit. the other thing to know hayes the earth is tilted about 23.5 degrees in relates to the orbital plane around the sun, that means it's not quite upright and that affects it as well. though those two things are major factors in why it's not an exact circle around the sun. mike: we saw the change out highs. time lapse in the lakes region, not a whole lot of that sunshine, although we did squeeze out a little bit. south of the lakes region and now clouds are beginning to partially clear. here's the reason why. a storm just hit your day moving to the east in the wake of that dry air, noses in for tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow evening, before another system back to the west could bring with it a couple widely scattered showers. mid to upper 50's, today right back to average, 30's to around 40 in many spots. we'll be very close to that if not a couple above during the day tomorrow. as for readings now, low to mid 30's from the great north woods through the heart of the white mountains. the merrimack valley over towards the coast mid to upper 30's again, very close to where we were for daytime highs tonight. overnight tonight not a big temperature fall, but right back to seasonably chilly levels as the clouds tend to move out for some partial clearing. good part of the country though as a whole featuring temperatures above the average, anywhere from the great lakes north and east, it's right at the norm, but everywhere else, all of the rockies, take a look at denver, at 55. all above average. and the temperature pattern like so just means more above normal temperatures for new england as well, starting thursday and lasting right into and through the upcoming weekend. next system on the map starved scattered showers that came, could come in early thursday. tomorrow clouds, partial sun, then more clouds build in during the day on thursday. and they actually move in later tomorrow night with a couple of showers that may fall with temperatures close to 32 degrees. so that means in many areas north and west of manchester there could be a touch of black ice, we'll have to watch that as we'll be right near freezing. but tomorrow we're well above that, anywhere from 40 to 45 statewide. on average lower 40's. and moving ahead to the day on thursday, despite clouds and the chance of a shower or two early, any breaks of sun will get us up near 50, if not at least mid to upper 40's from the great north woods all the way points south, and possibly right around 50 or above from manchester down through nashua and into southern new england. tonight seasonably chilly, could be valley fog late tonight as lower 20's in the sheltered valleys to mid 20's in manchester and right along the coastline. here's a look at the next seven days tomorrow, cloud, such partial sun, low 40's, right at the average and then we get into thursday and we jump above. and that above normal temperature pattern carries us right through early next week. maybe a couple of spot showers early thursday. an isolated shower on friday, maybe another one early sunday. best chance of any steadier rain looks to be sometime later monday into early on tuesday. but again at this point it looks more wet than white. come on in pop pop. happy birthday. i just had a
